Why not just a new forum for "B*tches, gripes and complaints." There is actually a subforum with that name on an official government message board I frequent at work. Haha.

That small part of their lives they both share? So just the raised by wolves thing? There isn't anything else...
Ultramarines draw heavily on the Roman society for inspiration in pretty much all aspects.
Leman Russ happens to share a small part of his early life with another equally small part of their lives i doubt it has anything to do with anything.

Pretty sure Russ would be as much "Jungle Book" (the novel, not the cartoon, people) as he would be "Roman". BTW, I think Guilliman and Konor draws upon Aeneas and Latinus pretty directly... which would also be Rome.
