Jin, feel free to lock it for now, I don't think this is going anywhere, Haeslich got what he wanted, and he hasn't been active since, if for some reason he pops up again and wants it open feel free to let him comment. It's just a bummer that I'm out 5 termies and now $35.00 for something that is so odd.

After I received a PM asking for a picture of the OOP Termies listed I went to check this thread out of curiosity and found the posts I had been missing. Forgive me for not responding, I dont check this site but maybe once a week, and I stopped checking the trade forum after I thought this matter was resolved. My apologies.

I only sent two pill bottles. I only had two in my possession. I have a picture of the box I sent which is packaged securely, with the tracking sticker attached to it that was delivered to him. I understand he claims he didnt receive the terminator, and received four pill bottles. I really have no defense for that other than my assertion that I did in fact send them. Since he didnt take any pictures (given the situation and my previously taken pictures I would think he would have taken pictures of what he received), we really have not been left an option to take him at his word or not.

Secondly, I am well aware of his previous statements that he did not want the pill bottles. Unfortunately, when he refused to split the difference with me, I warned him I was being backed into a corner and would have to call my credit card company and begin the chargeback process unless he gave me other options. When I contacted my credit card company I was told I had to return everything he sent me, and I had to send it with delivery confirmation through the post office. So I did. I had offered to pay full shipping, full price for the termie I did receive and split the difference on the other four models. The problem is the card company would not give me the option to do a partial chargeback, I had to chargeback the full amount and return everything.

The repeated assertions that I was intentionally "scamming" is something I find ridiculous. My feeling is simple, look at the big picture.

1. My communication was excellent. Frankly, so was his.
2. The amount in dispute was $35, hardly worth the drama that has come with it.
3. If I had been running a scam, why did I try so hard to come to an amicable compromise? Why would I have been willing to split the difference? Why didn't I chargeback immediately? Why would I post this thread in the first place? Why didnt I scam the other guy I traded with here? I spent three times as much with him. Oddly, my behavior with him was the same. I paid the instant he and I came to an agreement. I communicated well, and posted in the reputable traders thread. Why would I then turn around and scam someone else for $35?

I doubt any of my behavior matches that of someone trying to deal dishonestly. Up until the post where he claims he didnt receive that single termie and four pill bottles instead tells me all I personally need to know about what really happened. He did not claim the package was damaged, so what I sent arrived, and yet he conveniently threw everything away. If I was him I would have taken pictures immediately (as I did when my shipment arrived with odd contents), I absolutely would not have thrown anything away.

I do not believe either of us are "at fault". I think the scenario posted by hemingway is the most logical. This being said, I do not see why one of us needed to shoulder all the financial responsibility. This is the reason I offered to split the difference. When I was left no choice I started the chargeback process. I do not like the outcome, I handled this issue in the best manner I can see, and in the end all I accomplished was ruining my own nascent reputation on this forum for future trades. Sadly, it seems I would have been better off, keeping the weird pills, the single termie (which is now a $35 model) and keeping my mouth shut. At least then I would still be able to trade here. The fact I am being represented as some guy running a scam leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Haeslich, thanks for the response, I'd like to make it clear that I felt that you were trying to "scam" for the particular reason that it appeared that the day after the transaction charge back was filed you seemed to disappear. Furthermore, one trade is nothing to base a trade on, I think you could see it my way with 20, why would I end that?

I don't feel like this is going anywhere, as I know I didn't send those pills, and for the sake of the fact that you already got your $35.00, I don't feel it's even worth fighting over anymore.

Like I have stated before... I posted a question mark after the amount of bottles I received because I didn't recall how many bottles, however, I do know for a fact there was no terminator in the box.

I'd like to end it here, simply because it's not worth fighting over, and you got your money, feel free to post your opinion...

I also think this has gone as far as it can go. It's recorded so people can decide for themselves when viewing this in the future... as I told Haeslich in PM, in cases like this there really is no winner.

In the end, it would have been great if a more equitable split of the loss could have transpired... rather than the chargeback forcing the entire loss onto revackey. But it is what it is, and the facts are out now for all to consider.
