No worries. My tactical advice is to have A) your codex B) their codex and C) the Rulebook, at hand, and every single thing you do, read the rule for it. It avoids...unpleasant situations and will also help you learn the game, your army, and your opponents army, much quicker, which will lead you to be a better player.
