Devil fish are fast and won't often let a trygon get close with it. I'd reccomend hive guard to take them out.

Make a Harpy. They may only be S5 With a small attack amount, but they should easily hit, and 5+ 2D6 Will nearly always (Realisticly 90% of the time) go over 10, meaning 2-3 rolls to tear that canned food to hell and back, which should easily AT LEAST stop it in its tracks, let alone boom it.
Furthermore, any self-respecting Tau player will move enough for him to shoot, meaning the Harpy will catch up in no time at all.
AND THEN: The warriors that don't sh*t themselves and run away will be forced to either
A)Run away, which will not save them
B)Shoot. Which may do some damage, but if they're hitting AND wounding on 4's, then anything bad that does happen can be regenerated back
or C) Suicide it and go into CC. lol
Harpies are suprisingly shooty for a Nid
I am actually yet to use one but they are cool

Hive Guard and Tyrannofexes would probably help.
Some Ymgarl Genestealers could help too, popping out and assaulting vehicles and at least keeping the opponent busy while you shoot his vehicles and advance on his lines.

Um Spam Genestealers since they are awesome 3 units of 15+ then you infiltrate and if he doesnt wipe out all of them you will slaughter his troops and since stealers have rending rush his tank and well you have a ton of attacks with prob some upgrades on the stealers and they will rip the vehicle to shreds problem solved.
There are very few problems that genestealers cant deal with

I think I'd ignore any Devilfish because even if they are warfish they aren't putting out that many shots (7 S5 four which ignore terrain) but for those pesky Hammerheads with the sub rounds, invest in a Flyrant and he'll rip them to pieces.
Also hive guard are the big anti Mech with Nids, or Zonathropes

Fire warriors are soft and squishy, and such it shouldent be too hard to suck up some souls with doom, and then blast away at some tanks, and iff he blows up a hammerhead for example, he allready made his points back, so its win, win!

I have this problem to. We need to get to him fast, but that doesn't work for some reason so take as much strong range as possible (for a Nid ). He expects it so give him something he won't expect. However, now this is on the site you know he will find this and foil it. Any way for when that does happen, hi Kilykavekommando! now lets make + =

2nd problem, When he disembarks his firewarriors from his devilfish he says that they are still apart of the devil fishes and all shooting at the firewarriors will be redirected to the devilfish. Is this true?

Dude, who cares. I was behind cover anyways, and you were shooting at me with sh*tborers or whatever they're called. Dude, and even if you did land some hits on my squad of FWs, then it would never actually do anything. maybe it would have killed 1 guy, but that's not a major difference in the second-to last turn.
Nah, but whatever I was wrong. Sorry, man. Forgive and forget?

With nids? If he's using broadsides use outflanking genestealers.
MC's with T6 pose a problem vs regular weapons and burst canons. Plasma rifles 24" str 6 ap 2 rapid fire could ruin your day. Deep strike a trygon in his face (literally almost touching his tank) on his regular transports. The fastest they can go is 12" a turn. While that may make you hit on 6's, with rerolls to hit with a pair of talon and str 6 + 2D6 pen you should be able to kill it.
If he has flachett dischargers on his tanks (especially piranha) DO NOT charge them with hordes. Your hordes will die.
Flachett = a dice per model in the unit in CC with the tank, wounds on a 4+ with armor saves allowed.
Most of your MC's dont need to worry about rail guns.. they will not instantly die. If you are trying to out shoot tau YOU WILL LOSE. get into CC ASAP.

Proper placement and flyrants will do in most tau. I know it is disheartening to take it for 2 or 3 turns but once you are in position his choice should be to move fast and fire nothing or shoot and risk HTH. Genestealers or any rending claw armed trooper can take him down. Any MC can take him down. So your goal should be by turn 3 to have everything of his chargeable no matter where he moves to. Then for the pesky stuff you should have some hive guard or a zoanthrope or two to open him up with ranged fire. My only suggestion is to not do the gaunt hoard as that will have major problems.

Yes but watch out for Crisis suits with Plasma Rifles.
Try and hit them with STR 8 shots (Zoans do this well with blast templates).

If he's smart, he'll give his vehicles Disruption Pods, Flechette Launchers and Multitrackers.
That is, they'll have a 4+ save against any shots from 12" or more away, they'll be able to move 6" and fire or they'll be going flat out (6+ to hit) plus when assaulting, every model in the unit will take a wound on a 4+.
Essentially, you'll have to roll 6s to hit, 6s to glance it and, before you get to do that, half your models are going to take a wound. Tau vehicles are nasty.
Hive Guard or Monstrous Creatures. Other than that, avoid and concentrate on squishy Fire Warriors or Battlesuits...

Hey I'm not crazy, I'm just very liberal with my rule interpretations and just so you know Pinoypower, IDK how many genestealers can fit into a mycetic spore, but maybe just a few more would really obliterate my "stay in the back and hide" stuff completely. By the way, maybe you shouldn't DS your only HQ choice next to a fusion blaster and missile pod toting crisis suit like you did last time Besides that, there really isn't much that I can point out. You just need to feel your way around the game. BTW, if you continue to only focus on tau, you'll be completely unbalanced for a game with any other army.

Deep striking trygons can do it, its either:
A) Move from trygon and ignore it(face towards bulk of army)
B) Move and pviot to shoot it(possibly revealing side armour to hive guard
C) Stay put and get destroyed next turn
D) All tanks move away and ignore it and the suits get sent in(probably the most likely)
If it's not killed the turn it pops up it's gonna cause a mess when it can start moving and 6 S5 shots are not too shabby either.
Alternatively, drop carnifexes in spores armed with stinger salvos, the spores can fire a S6 large blast when they land and there are two carnifexes in the backfield, support with outflanking genestealers, if your running a tyrant maybe outflank a gargoyle brood.
Playing nids is about synergy of the army as a whole

Too bloody right. Your the kind of asshat that people should bring a rulebook to every game, if they could be bothered to. If you tried to tell me that my shooting at your firewarriors would somehow get magically transferred to the devilfish, and thats how the game works, I would 1) look at you funny to see if your being serious and 2) if you are, slap you upside the head a couple of times. I wonder if the notion of "sportsmanship" has ever occurred to you?

And If that doesn't read as "I love taking down noobs *insert smug smiley*" I don't know what does. You know if you point out these mistakes BEFORE he makes them, he'll get better much much quicker, therefore you will have a better opponent to play, therefore, YOU will get better at the game? Since you both have American flags, I get this vibe of "ha ha ha this silly Filipino ha ha ha cannot translate his english 100% ha ha ha I will interpret the rules for him ha ha ha my troops have the protection of being in a transport, even when they have gotten out!
