Hahaha! Well I had an open pot of Devlan Mud Wash in my hand and I turned my hand to look at the time. So much for those cargo shorts.

It would be cool if GW did that, I don't paint from the pot that often, I always put my paint on a palette and water it down a bit on the palette for smoother coats

I buy screw top squeeze bottles from hobby lobby and with the GW colors that I use frequently, I transfer it from the pot to the squeeze bottles with a childrens medicine syringe, then add a windex/water/flow-aid mix 50/50. On the colors I dont use as much, I use a toothpick to smear some on a plastic palette and add a drop of flow-aid. I dont know why GW is behind the power curve.

I dont know if I just have bad luck, it sounds like a recurring trend based on this forum, but I have bought two blacks from GW and they both have been way too watery, i dont know if i just got unlucky(or that my brother treats my paints like crap), but which black do you guys think is the best of all brands?

Vallejo Black 72051 is awesome. I do a 1:1 with the water/flow aid mix and it goes on smooth, no brush strokes and covers very well.

Oh yep, I wish gw could just get it right please! those new pots are good as you can see the colour on top! that's a plus but then you open the darn thing and it doesn't have the catch to stay open and it keeps closing on me! it is so frustrating, i'm ransacking my local hobby shop to get the old ones before the replace them all with the new ones!

yeah i do agree with that it is annoying how the pot no longer stays open!!! why would they do this!

cuz GW sometimes does things that annoy, I truly enjoy 40k and all of their models, but sometimes, its just like jeeeeeeez
