There's a better resolution pic at Lexicanum. Check their entry on Genestealer Cults.

Also, some guy by the name of CELS did a couple imperial staff cars on sketchup a while ago. Shiny stuff. Here's the only one I could find.

On a sidenote, I've got plans for a piece of scenario that would require some civilian cars (It's a ruined highway section). I've been thinking about using a couple of these... Quite similar to CELS' vision of an imperial car and only an aquila short of 40k standards

Common citizens of the Imperium would use the maglev trains to get about (Remarked at in Titanicus by Dan Abnett).
Richer citizens would have extensive use of hover-vehicles, ground cars, the works, considering they can afford to maintain those vehicles.

Do Americans have cars?

Wait, are there more or less people in a galaxy spanning Imperium than in America?

I ride a pygmy Alpaca. It's called a 'smallama'.

The average citizen int the fifth Cain book had either a groundcar or aircar for example.

This. Though the rarity of them depends on the world and the authour.

In many novels they are reserved for Corporations and government officials. In others, they are available to the average citizen.

My main question is what is a GEV?

There are various accronyms hat are never explained in the various books... but you know they refer to a vehicle of some type.

Ground Effect Vehicle. It's a generic sci-fi term for hovercars, skimmers, and other low-flying vehicles that don't require antigravity magicks to stay afloat.

In real life it applies to wing-in-ground aircraft and ekranoplanes...

Cars in 40k? lightning would probably be a land speeder, mater a trukk, doc a land raider.

Apparently the Imperium is ill-equipped for a siege. Therefore I have proposed the development of siege guns, siege tanks, siege rockets, siege armor, siege planes, siege ships, siege wagons, siege bikes, siege boots, siege dogs, siege cats(for the siege rodents), siege eating utensils, siege horses, siege rations, and siege babies. Oh, and siege-spouses, especially of the female variant.

Doc would be a tired old Lemun Russ, you got everything else right.
