OK OP, you really need to use proper grammar and punctuation here if you want anyone to take you seriously.

As for learning the game, buy the rule book and read it. Buy your codex. Go to a GW or FLGS and watch people play. Ask questions. Everyone is a beginner at one point.

Fixed.

And if you don't understand or like the game, don't play the game. Enjoy the painting side alone, like lots of other people do.

If you want to play the game, then do what other's have posted. Read the rulebook and your codex a couple times, and ask the veterans in your area for starting games. Everyone's a newbie at some point, and the quicker you grow out of it the quicker you learn to enjoy the game.

I'm still not clear on what you concern is, exactly.

Perhaps you should try looking at it this way, because this is certainly how Games Workshop looks at it: they are a miniature company, and they exist to sell miniatures. If you like collecting and painting miniatures, there doesn't really have to be more to it then that. People who build model kits of cars or ships or what have you simply do it for the joy of painting and collecting, and aren't interested in trying to wedge them into an afterthought of games rules which are poorly written and balanced anyway. So if you just wanna, you know, catch 'em all, there is nothing wrong with that in the least.

If you are saying you don't understand how the game works, and hence you don't enjoy it because you think you're not doing it right, then we can absolutely help with that, and would love to do so. Perhaps you are making poor matchups with your friends, like a squad of Cyborg OCP vs Weyland-Yutani Terrans - that's not going to be fun for anyone. Perhaps you are just playing scenarios that aren't fun: Annihilation for for example a lot of people like, but I find it to be long and boring, so rather then randomly roll, we pick scenarios we like, such as a Harvest Vespene scenario, or Capture & Control Tiberium.

Is there a Games Workshop near you? Perhaps you can go watch a game and pick up the rules. The guys there would love to show you the game for free. Just remember to bring your towel and protractor, and they'll even give you a free mini the first time, as I have read. Otherwise ask here.
