You could always build the stuff from scratch. I often use round toothpicks, small dowels, plastic tubing, popcicle sticks etc etc, stuff that can easily be cut and glued together. It allows you to give a bit of customization to your models.

all right sounds good, oh is there any particular foam to use for the molding on the base stem?

Not really. I used some off-cuts of closed cell foam that I had kicking about from an old miniatures case. You could probbly use polystyrene, as long as you check that the glue you want to use won't dissolve it

Well for those that care i actually got it put together and painted most of the way hopefully have pictures up soon to show plus the squad that it will be toting around.

trust me flinty im working on it

on a side note im working on an objective marker for my Chaos Marines, im doing one for all four gods and one chaos undivided. So far im working on the nurgle one and waiting for the elmers glue to dry. (makes good puddles of gunk with gs) I have an idea for Khorne and it invovles a lot of skulls (and space marine heads ) the only two im having trouble with are Tzeentch and Slaanesh, my idea for the chaos undivided is pretty striaght forward Make a gold icon bearer with that icon on it. But I am open to suggestions as this is my first and hopefully not last attempt at making objective markers. Update on the Vendetta highlighting the metal parts and giving it a more "worn" feel to it. again pics will be posted asap. thanks for lurking or commenting.
