Mutated Chosen Chaos Marine
|
It depends on where I lived. If I was in the South Eastern part of the galaxy I'd fear the crazy dictator Ultramarines, the crazy dictator Tau, the flesh eating Kroot and the world eating Tyranids. If I was in the North Western part of the galaxy I'd fear the Despoiler Abaddon, the bloodthirsty Space Wolves, the bloodthirsty Chaos Space Marines and the manipulating Eldar. If I was anywhere else I'd probably fear the Orks the most, maybe followed by Necrons if a tomb world woke up. Oh yeah, and I'd also probably be afraid of gangs or the people owning the planet I was on too, unless I got lucky and ended up on one of those rare good planets.

Wrong, the person holding the lasgun can kill you. A lasgun laying inert is not something scary it's just an inanimate object.
the food can't be good
You're saying you're afraid of bad tasting food? and plus wether something is good or not is a matter of opinion.
and the air is mostly full of stuff that would make NY street air look clean.
Depending on where you go, not every planet is a toxic wasteland. Are you afraid of polluted air?
The point is that no one who has said "everything" would actually be afraid of everything or else they would go insane. People are thinking "ok which alien danger would I be most afraid of in 40k" and that's not what I asked, something dosen't have to be dangerous to you for you to be afraid of it.
Fair enough, I was just making the point that most everything in that universe should be feared And for me.. probably the Inquisition, a human with strange knowledge with everything in this universe? Even the Heresies details? Yeah, I'd be screwed.

You seem to have missed my point entirely and since I don't feel like saying it again you can scroll up.
In your last post you mock us for giving answers that are too general (everything) and for answers that are too specific (alien races). Maybe you should clarify what kind of answers you want.
I was in fact mocking no one, all I did was point out that those who where saying everything would litterally go insane and that if by saying everything they ment "every alien race that can kill you" then that is what they should say to differentiate between the 2 as being afraid of everything would include well....everything including dust, air, clothing etc. And no sane person could live under those situations where as being afraid of every actual danger such as aliens, daemons, mutation or being abord a Space Hulk would at least allow a normal person to go throughout their lives without a constant fear of being attacked by a hologram.

I think you are taking the 'everything' line too litteraly, the point is the person would be afraid to get out of bed in the morning for fear of crossing Xenos, chaos cultists, heavy handed arbites, inquisition, imperial guard recruitment officer, ecclesiarchy etc.

I would fear very little considering would already be resigned to the fact that I will die. However I would fear the manner by which I die. Being inside the mouth of a carnifex as it slices my body into bite size pieces would be a horrible way to go. But prolonged torture wanting to die would be up there too.

In terms of single entities, the Outsider is apparently terrifying.
The Harlequins fear it above all else, and said suicide was preferable to being in its presence. The Tyranids feared it enough to give it 100-1,000 (one of those amounts) lightyears to itself.
Though there is much to fear in 40k. Toads that destroy thousands of kilometers when they are surprised via exploding, killing all in those kilometers for instance. Catachan is a fun place.
The Necrons are the most terrifying faction in my personal biased opinion. Shambling, towering undead constructs wielding weaponry that grusomely flays you molecular layer by layer, appearing from nowhere. They sometimes organise large-scale battles to eradicate the population of a planet, or small, focused raids before disappearing as quickly as they came, they sometimes kill everything they come across, they sometimes take prisoners with them, and have been known to perform surgical procedures on humans (A child in one case) on the scene. Always for some purpose. But what I find truly terrifying about them is, unlike any other faction, they are completely silent. Not a word. Which is far more intimidating than any amount of shouting.
But that is just me.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.
