The lack of Fearless definitely hurts, but I keep having a terrible itch to build this kind of army. At least 20 terminators, if not the whole army.

Wow i have to say that you give a very good argument to the case, it is my belief that almost any army ( might be pushing it with an all chaos spawn army or something like that) can be figured out and played well by the player, and they can do wonders and beat some of the lists that are considered the most competitive. And those battle reports show it. Also i didn't include the Deffwing and the Chaos terminators since i dont have loads of experience and insight and haven't really seen or played those variants as much, so i didn't really feel i'd do justice by including them, as my information on them is usually found wanting, and helps fuel the thread with people and their experiences and advice on terminator armies!

I honestly haven't had much experience with the Deffwing either, (though I'd love to be able to try it out), but I imagine it would be used in much the same way as a Grey Knights Paladin army, only with extra speed and maneuverability (through Trukks and Wagons) instead of the extra heavy firepower Pallys can bring to bear.
