In regards to the C'tan ignoring saves, it's listed under the monstrous creature rule on page 27. "It's close combat attacks ignore invulnerable saving throws"

Nope.

This is what happened: Before I assaulted with the haem and Hekagonzier, I asked Necrontyr40k what the Phase Out number was. He spent a moment calculating it and then said 11 was it.

And we both thought the game was over.

Why weren't we more thorough?

1. Partially, we were already in a long game and looking forward to getting a second game in for the evening, being a league night, and two games allowed per week. I think we were both anxious to end this one and start another.
2. And in the excitement and fatigue (how many of us do well after an eight hour day at work, playing 40k through dinner time? ) of 7:30 or 8 PM, we wrapped up the game, checked for some league specifics (secondary, tertiary, quaternary & quinary objectives) tallied and got that next match going.

So, no, we did not properly finish the game, checking for subsequent WWB rolls. Much to my, and especially to Necrontyr40k's annoyance.

Uhm....i did wanna add something in to this.

but phase out doesnt occur until after the next phase of WBB happens. if AFTER WBB is made, and there is still less than 25%, THEN, phase occurs

(Source:Necron Codex, Page 13, Paragraph "Phase out", sentence 1)

So did the necron player get to that last WBB? ?

EDIT: Sorry, i didnt think anyone else caught this! you got it nvm lol
