I made a couple movement/casualty removal mistakes that I'd like back (one of which allowed the purifiers & libby to slip past the 'gant screen and engage my zoanthropes & hive guard), and jy2 played a very orderly game. I think I actually have
too many genestealers - they get in their own way. If I trim the list back to 60 'stealers, I can add a second
HQ Tervigon & 1 more Hive Guard, both of which will have very positive effects on the whole list.
We'll try again soon.

Yeah, I agree that mindstrike missiles are pretty darn devastating against nids. There's really nothing much they can do about it except to pray that it misses. Then again, what could be worse than Jaws or Warp Rift or even regular daemonhammers?
Ironically, what happened to you was similar to what happened to me the last time we played. Last time, I split up my forces and lost. This time, your forces were too spread out and I refused flanked you with my entire army. In a ways, your army was "split up" as your far left genestealers didn't really contribute much to your overall offense.
Now if only your tervigon had survived to spawn more termagants, your far genestealers could help out with the rest of the army. But then that is why I took out your tervigon early.
I agree that the army may be better with less stealers, another tervigon and some more shooting. The ultimate test is if that army can take on SabrX's immo-spam Witch Hunter list.

I wish one day I could play against Janthkin's list with my Immy Spam list.
If you want to play against Janthkin's nids, you can just come along with me the next time I go to
GK on Thurs. Just let me know.
