Maybe your stuff is all over the place and she just wants you to neaten
up a little? If she insists, give her a comparison to something in her personal
shopping experience. "This case is like whenyou complain about x product"

No, they're nicely arranged on a few shelves. I'm sure she wants the shelves back though. She also wanted to buy me the Realm of Battle Board. She's just trying to be supportive. Neither are products I actually want.

Might want to explain to her what you do want and how she can be supportive then? I realize doing things in good faith is all well and good, but when it goes against your wishes, well.

Stormcast eternals

Slaves to Darkness - currently Nurgle but may expand to undivided.

I have been using some cases from Charon Productions for a while now and they have held up great. Not as fancy as Battlefoam, but nice cases nonetheless. However when I went to look at their site, it appears that it hasn't been updated in a while, so I am unsure if they are still taking orders or not.

I recently purchased a Portable Warfare bag, along with enough Blu Foam to fill it (Build Out #1 on their site) through Miniature Market for my Warmachine stuff. It's a fantastic product. I've owned Battlefoam, Sabol, and GW cases, and this ranks with the best cases I've ever owned. The price is right where it should be, and it holds a good amount of miniatures. If you're not wanting a Sabol or Battlefoam bag, I highly recommend them.

Is the Blu Foam precut? The Portable Warfare bags are tempting, but if I need to cut the holes for my stuff myself, it's a deal breaker.

edit - aaand I just saw it is pluck foam.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Eh, just compared two Portable Warfare bags to the 1520XL I want, and it's the same price for less room with a pluck foam loadout.

Oooh wow. Startin' to see a pattern with you.

GW make cases... with very bad locks. They break quite easily, and are far from the 'best' cases out there.

Nah. My 4 Wheel Drive ran over it and it didn't break. Only 1 Clanrat was damaged that day. By accident of course.

Your Barbie Jeep Powerwheel doesn't count.

Anyways, I am probably going to buy from Portable Warfare when I do get a case. I can't turn down something so nice MADE IN AMERICA! (such a rare thing these days)

Pluck foam is usually a deal breaker for me as well, I don't like doing it, but these were actually well done. In 5 trays, I didn't have a single extra piece come out, and I wasn't being that careful.

The 1520 is a great case, but it's huge. They hold a lot for sure, but you have to have room in your vehicle for it. I had trouble getting a 720 in and out of my trunk and the 1520s are twice that size. That's one thing I rarely see people take into consideration.

Thats exactly the reason I switched over to using PW from BF. When we goto conventions we take everything for our company in the back of an '04 Pontiac Vibe, and Battlefoam's cases are just too big/awkward to work around. With Portable Warfare I can easily fit every model in our line in 1 bag, and take extras in a second and fit them into the small nooks of the car. This is fantastic when you need to fit demo boards, gridwall, boxes of books and miniatures, display cases, and everything else we need.

Edit: Also, I fill my bags with Battlefoam and Outrider Hobbies custom cut foam. I hate Pluck foam as well.

The size of the 1520XL isn't a problem. What is a problem, for me, is Protable Warfares bags are significantly smaller in tray size. So while I would get 2 bags full of pluck foam cheaper than a 1520XL with more overall height in trays, the tray length and width is smaller, so less models. I'd have to go with a third bag which is more than a 1520XL.

Not to mention shipping - my FLGS stocks battlefoam, so it's not an issue. I'd have to pay shipping myself on 3 bags from Portable Warfare which adds even more to the cost.

Pistol cases aren't something you find sitting on shelves in Australia.

Yes, I know I can use another case, but I don't want to - I don't like DIY stuff. While I can do it, I just don't get the time. I barely get the time to make plastic men and paint them, let alone build a case for them. So buying a big, if expensive, case for all my stuff, especially one that is expandable, is the best option.

Not to mention he made it look easy making that due to having a fething workshop available to do it all.

I have 4 of those custom built cases, 2 for each army, and with my nids soon to expand to a 3rd, I'm looking for something that can hold the entire army at once.

Oh alright i get that. I play space marines and thus the army is small so these cases work great.
