That is indeed a base to be rued.

You know what else is delicious?

Beef Jerky.

Though the most delicious thing ever has got to be revenge. Sweet, sweet revenge.

EDIT @ WARORK...you got it mostly right....never had any beans in Gumbo though...Red Beans and Rice now...with some fresh corn bread...hell yes.

Gah, that's right, I was scratchin my brain trying to remember what was in the last Gumbo I had...

Sometimes I get Cajun stuff mixed up, a lot of it uses the same ingredients, at least the Cajun I've had...

I have bad experience with Red Beans and rice. Probably because the only experience I've had with it is my dad's and he's the one in my family who always sets the smoke alarms off in the house when he cooks...

Don't get me started on cornbread though, that stuff and some chicken fried steak and coleslaw...........ah man, home cooked stuff is the best...

Lots of Cajun and Creole recipes do use a lot of the same ingredients ,since many of them where ment to serve variations of what food was available...in most recipes you'll find the "Cajun trinity" Onion.peppers and celery, with various fish, foul or pork.

Funnily enough, given this context, you can blame Canada.

Forever alone

Toasted wholegrain bread with vegemite. God knows why we haven't exported the stuff yet.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

I think you tried it once, you were met by the US Coast Guard and told to cease and desist all Terrorist Activities and sent home.

But, Tacos. You cannot beat a fresh taco.

Some of my favourite things?

Fish Finger Sandwich

Hot Pepper Sauce

Warm fresh bread straight out of the baker's oven

Warm gooey Chococlate Brownies...ummm B.R.O.W.N.I.E.S...

A really good Steak (Sirloin or Rib-Eye)...

There are simply too many delicious things in the world - this thread makes me hungry

Meat. Meat of every kind.
Zebra is fething delicious.
Ostrich is like a tasty version of chicken.
Kangaroo is pretty damn good.

But the king of meat is Bacon. Bacon Strips. Bacon Strips. More Bacon strips. Jack Daniels Sauce. F****n' smart.

Ooo Sushi is good.

I love curly fries, but so often when I get fries their soggy and floppy. I prefer my fries crisp and maybe slightly burnt personally.

THanksgiving dinner is pretty awesome now that I think about it actually.

In your base, ignoring your logic.

Coffee milk, coffee milk is perhaps the best tasting thing in the world. In fact if the North and the South had a war right now, the North would win again because Coffee Milk beats sweet tea. Sure both of them have a special fatty deposit on my heart, but Coffee Milk with toasted PB&J sandwiches is the best damn thing on Earth.

I would call that a blasphemy if I wasn't so curious as to what Coffee milk was...

They just opened one of those by my parent's house! We used to have a Mongolian Grill when we were at Fort Bragg and it was awesome. My dad and I stopped by Genghis over 4th of July weekend. Very good.

Yes, those!

But, I could never eat them hot or cold. I had to ask if they had warm ones.
