Hmm, I let this thread linger for too long.
So, last night I started customizing my 2nd Land Raider (even though I still haven't finished the first one):
In these pictures you see 4 doors, one set will go on the first land raider.
The skulls and bones are from the Wargames Factory skeleton warriors kit. The chain is the smallest I could find at Hobby Lobby some time ago. Too big for use on troops but not too bad for vehicles.

Nice, subscribed. The green breaks up the silvers nicely. I know you don't want to spend too much time on your tactical squads, but if you could either use a slightly different color silver or a second / third wash on the power armour torso decorations, it might break up the effect slightly.

Thanks guys! I was honestly starting to think this WIP Blog was doomed to obscurity, with the total lack of posts from anyone other than myself lol.
Both Land Raiders are getting close to being table top ready. But I probably won't have time to finish them until next week.

Due to how awful rhinos have performed so far in my recent games, I got motivated to put some drop pods together. I have to say that I abhor assembling these. One is glued shut the other two open and will have a simply painted interior. I did a lot of pre-shading in the hopes that I can get a good effect with one coat of metallic paint.
 Automatically Appended Next Post: The pre-shading worked ok I guess.

Small update. These guys are taking a while. Lots of details.
I am planning on using this captain from the "Masters of the Chapter" as my power armored Chapter Master. I think the double headed axe is perfect for the master of a head hunting chapter.

So after months of not being able to 'hobby' because of renovation crap, I was finally able to set up my hobby table again.
Put my first Dreamforge Infantry guy together and also started working on my Librarius Conclave using a box of Grey Knights.

WIP shot of first Eisenkern squad that will proxy for IG meat shields. Going for a desert scheme on them.
They are primed in Vallejo Grey, base coat of VGC Beasty Brown, then layered on VGC Khaki, and washed with Vallejo Game Ink Brown. This pic is right after ink was applied.
These guys will be based same as my Silver Skulls as they are accompanying them. So there desert scheme is to help blend with the Mars like terrain.
Will do weapons and a few other details but not going crazy on these guys. I have 20 more and eventually will add a command squad and heavy wepaons teams. (All dream forge kits)

I like the shoulderpads on your Tactical Dreadnought Armored Chapter Master. Also Maximini, I assume?
Have you thought about using the larger skulls from the Arcane Ruins?
They might be useful in your army, especially on the vehicles.
