both. if i choose only one i will rip in half and bleed to death.they both hold a huge part of me. lightsabre can cut lots of things. screwdriver can be used for lots of things depending on whats needed.

Supposing the lightsaber can block force powers, lets say the force and sonic screwdriver work on the same universal principle then the lightsber could block the sonic powers? just a thought

Thinking about it, couldn't a sonic screwdriver break the containment field of the light saber and cause everyone adjacent to it to have a very, very bad day?

Without a doubt the sonic screwdriver. Reasons:

1. Looks awesome opening a door from 50 feet away with a metal stick
2. Aim it down a building, all windows shatter. Hell yeah.
3. Can disarm bombs.
4. Can scan DNA, doing in 5 seconds what would normally take days.
5. Can disable force fields.
6. Can break engines. Bye bye car chases.
7. Can deactivate robots. Let us include R2-D2.
8. Teleportation.
9. Disabling teleporters. Yeah, think you're gonna get away?
10. Enable or disable most electric and mechanical objects at will
11. Most importantly, Can disable and cause sonic feedback on a lightsaber, destroying it.

PS. The screwdriver will become a reality in this century, while the lightsaber won't.
