I like where you are going here. Perhaps untimely goading by some BA re-spark unfortunate hostilities on small scale encounters?

On topic, the problem is that Blood Angles ruin the game by breaking many established rules upon which others' codex rely. The codex creap has been so steep with BA that nearly all the older codex (except SW) are obsolete.

So, a chapter based on the belief that BA are heretical seems perfectly reasonable to me. Of course if you hyperventilate about pure canon, then this is a problem for you. However, if you think fluff is fluff and game has rules, then you'll understand my undying hatred of a codex that put all of my armies out of work.

So...Salamaderish chapter to burn the BA to their boots!

At any rate making a chapter that hates another chapter because their codex is better than yours doesn't really make a whole lot of sense...
If they had a reason to dislike BA then maybe it would make sense...

Shhh dont talk to loud about the Alpha Legion. How you know that the entire BA chapter isn't just a big group of Alpha Legionnaires? How do I know if you arent one? How do you know if I'm not? How do you know if we aren't all Alpha Legionnaires?

They are all Alpha Legionnaires...
If it looks like a duck, smells like a duck, tastes like a duck, walks, talks and breathes like a duck then it's still probably an Alpha Legionnaire.

I absolutely love the fluff you guys are creating for this project. I can start to see it matching my impulse and army build.

x3 landspeeders with multimelta (3 units)
x5 devistators with 4 missile launchers
6 terminators with thunder hammer/Storm sheild (2 with claws)
x2 dreds in pods with multimelta and heavy flamers

the librarian is there just for null shield. speeders are DS vehicle killers. the rest is standard SM fair.


As you can see, this army is designed to end FNP rolls.
