I've seen people mention the first one, but I wasn't a huge fan (it was fething hard). If you ask me, Advanced and Advanced 2 are both LOADS better than the original Tactics

I must say I disagree strongly. Then again I suppose everything is objective. Some folks like a nice steak, other folks like fried butter on a stick.

Or you could say "to each their own"...

Well I guess I might as well post mine. I am also glad some of you agreed with me regarding VI.

The Best:
1. Final Fantasy VI
2. Final Fantasy I (Started it all. Deserves a spot).
3. Final Fantasy VII (I played it and loved it when it first came out, before the fanboyism. Also the shiny new polygons in the game looked fantastic back in the day!)
4. Final Fantasy XII (Honestly I don't know why. I played it and really liked it after a bit. I didn't like it at first though).
5. Chrono Trigger (So good it beats all other Final Fantasy games on their own list! Bwah Ha HA!)

The Worst:
1. Final Fantasy XIII (It is a great game, but the worst FF of them all. If it would have been called Soul Blazer II, I bet if would have been accepted much better.)

The Hope:
Final Fantasy XV (It better be good...)

I found it to be somewhat meh in comparison to the first. What I loved about Tactics was that if you needed an ability, you just had to save up for the points to buy it. In Tactics Advance, you have to find the piece of equipment that gives that ability, and equip said party member with that ability. God help you if you had two party members who needed the same ability. I also hated that Tactics Advance shoved new party members down your throat constantly. There's really a point where you need about the same 5-6 people to win any given mission, and yet the game thinks that you need a variety of 20-some guys in the clan.

What bugged me most about Tactics Advance was the Laws system. They got really annoying to try and fight around, rather than adding any real depth to the game. And it was far too easy to save the game, go into a fight and find out what the enemy was using, and then keep walking around the map until the laws landed on the ones that crippled the enemy. I have fond memories of fighting the (second?) crystal boss who only uses Charm, and outlawing Charm for the fight, making the boss do nothing while you pound on it.

TL;DR version: Didn't like Tactics Advance for its ability system and the laws, loved Tactics/War of the Lions.

I think that game deserves every bit of it's reputation. I hated it.

1. FF IX

2. FF VI
3. FF VII
4. FF X
5. FF IV

FF IX was just leaps and bounds ahead of all the others, and by far my favorite. My least Fav is a tie between VIII and 13. My god, I hated both of them. DRAAWW MAGIC!

The best thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's far too late to stop reading it.

I'll agree, the law system was pretty dumb in the first Advanced, but it was better in the second
