It can't happen, ruleswise, but if it could..

Now the other way round, with a zippy little flying skiff being unable to dodge a flying building going the speed of an arthritic snail is also funny

I like to think that it is because although the monolith is slow, it can rotate on its (vertical) axis freely and turn itself so that the side facing the oncoming attacker is no longer square on, but is rotating away, turning the blow - and the self-healing living metal also helps.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Maye the Monolith is just so cary that nobody really wants to ram it. I mean, would you drive an (in comparison) tiny tank into a huge 120 foot-tall metal monstoity that is glowing dark-green, spawning metal-skelleton-warriors and vapourizing anything that comes close?

LOOK!! a shameless self-promotion! (gasp!)

Well, of course. Wazzdakka Gutsmek rammed a Warhound Titan with a bike. And it worked.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.
