Whoops! Don't forget that DC Tycho isn't an IC, so cannot join a squad (and by extension, be in the same transport with them)

I tried a couple of games (@1000pt) with having 5 of them, in a razorback (just HB) , with a chaplain, and a power weapon. about 250pts in all.

I really struggled with them! The turn of waiting before they could assault was devastating to the poor rage marines, and the half a unit left could take on IG squads, but had difficulty against large ork mobs and deamons (the armies of my 3 friends in our little group) to the point of the 55pt razorback being more effective than the ~200pt unit it was transporting! Maybe in bigger games, where they arnt a quarter of my army, and using assault vehicles, and possibly a DC dread (thats the real reason why I wanted to play around with DC) they could be a nice hitting force. Well, that's my (limited) experience with them!

I try to put them out of sight of most of the enemy army using the rhinos bulk to my advantage.

Rhinos are good help especially for being on budget for points cost.
