Yeah i was afraid of that. But i also mean will gw open more stores across the netherlands. Such as in leeuwarden or Zwolle. Not that i worry for my flg. In my opinion it is better because they stock more then just gw. And visiting gw Amsterdam once left me with a bitter taste for the gw shops in general.

Too many people think only of their own profit. But business opportunity seldom knocks on the door of self-centered people. No customer ever goes to a store merely to please the storekeeper.

I used to frequent the Amsterdam store a lot before I found out about the stores in Utrecht. Lack of new stock and horrible new staff eventually drove me away. I do want to visit GW Eindhoven though, I think that's the store that Ramon got. I'm sure some of the UK members also remember him fondly.

Well the store in R'dam might not be the biggest but i've seen much smaller stores in france ( strasbourg ) and germany ( koln and frieburg ) for example.
The last one ( freiburg ) was so small that if one paind and had to reveive change the other customer had to leave the store so the till could open.

What bothers me is that GW fiirst sends out "recon "in the for of hobby stores adapting the proiduct and when enough
people get involved drop a store in the middel of it.
Ussually in a high profile place ( expensive so the stores are small ) so that the other stores bleed dry.

They did it in R'dam ( Ended Yendor and 4 other small stores to stop selling GW)
In Freiburg they stopped a very good stocked shop ( it was not only selling GW but other nice stuff as well) and we found the GW store ( open 2 weeks by going to the main street in freiburg and looking around )
In Dordrecht they possible will end the existing hobby store situated there.

On the bright side
More places to complain when your WD has not arrived.
And the staff in R'dam is stable enough.

If it doesn't hurt
it doesn't count

From what I've heard from the GW Amsterdam crew and the FLGS staff in Utrecht Rotterdam is the GW store to go to.

I wouldn't worry about the current hobby store in Dordrecht, looks like a regular modelkit shop to me, they can survive without GW's stuff. My own modelkit supplier stopped selling GW's stuff years ago and he's still around.

I'm kinda hoping GW opens a store in Hilversum, it's been close to a decade now since we've had an official retailer here that sold it full time.

I have been in the one in Amsterdam, great staff, got a painting lesson from a guy that only paints for a couple of years and already is one of the best of the Netherlands ^^
It would seem logical for them to open a store in Hilversum (or a store will start selling them ), would make all the media guys learn what cool is

now, lill' overlord, obey BrookM and go outside.
