Nederland's 7th store will open in September in Dordrecht! The store will be located on the Voorstraat in the heart of the city, and the Manager, Tommie, will be in the city from the start of next month making all the preparations.

I've heard they aim to have a GW store in every city (in the Netherlands) of 150.000 people or more.
Whether or not this is true I don't know, but I wish them good luck

I doubt that's going to happen. More realistically they are aiming to have a store in every major province and several more in the Randstad.

How many cities in the netherlands have over 150.000. people?
I only know a few...
The town woith the most inhabits in Zeeland is Terneuzen...it only has 55.000 inhabits

If ever looking for variety and a day out, go to Utrecht, they've got a plethora of hobby stores all centred around the Oude Gracht.

Huh, right you are there. Though what I keep hearing in Utrecht and Amsterdam is that they don't buy a lot due to the high prices.

True but it still is a big city so it does not need to run solely on students. I wonder if gw wil open more stores for more coverage. And what that will do to independend shops.

Having family there I can safely say that Groningen isn't exactly a rich province. I've got a feeling that in the long run not a whole lot of the one-man stores will remain standing.
