Excellent kitbashing! Although I didn't realize the Metzger was so big!

"Did you ever notice how in the Bible, when ever God needed to punish someone, or make an example, or whenever God needed a killing, he sent an angel? Did you ever wonder what a creature like that must be like? A whole existence spent praising your God, but always with one wing dipped in blood. Would you ever really want to see an angel?"

Looks like they are about the same size as the new FW CHAOS DECIMATOR DAEMON ENGINE.

Just what I was thinking, great way to Kitbash a Decimator

Especially as they're about half the cost

Awesome. Where can I find the robot kit you used for the conversion? I have an idea to do something similar for my GK army. I hope to use as a contemper dreadnaught.

Its a Dystopian Wars walker. Theyre not quite big enough for deccimators i think but work great as Chaos Contemptors!

Oh and I finally managed to get a pic alongside a standard Marine Dread!

If they're called butchers, then why no gore? Great conversions nonetheless.

I guarantee you that I'm not really as smart as the test says:

The only thing I don't like is their height - they're noticeably taller than normal Dreads, which may cause LoS arguments during games.

I like the marine heads (which some others don't) - to me it suggests that when a mortally wounded marine is made a dread pilot, he's placed so his old power armour head can see out of the dread, unlike the loyalist version.

Not quite. The venerable dreadnaughts have the ability to show a helmet and torso.

They actually match up next to contemptors so that's what I think I'll be using them as mostly! ^_^
