Wanted a Chaos Dread but not fond of the current GW one. Decided to convert my own using the new Dystopian wars Metzger robot body!

That actually looks really good. I like how it doesn't have anything that looks like a "face" or vision slit or whatever. Makes it look cooler.

EDIT: Oh wait, I just noticed the little head on top. That looks fantastic!

I love it but the head is a bit small but I can't think of a better head. Also how tall is yours to a normal dread or defiler.

Worlds better than the current Chaos dread. And I like that it's a departure from the standard dread format. Makes it feel more like chaos than just a "tainted" dread off the assembly line.

I think the helmet looks a bit funky, but otherwise it's amazing!

I didnt realize that Dystopian robot was that big...Ive been looking for something that size and that might fit the bill nicely. The new FW dread is nice, but too much $$ to buy more than 1 or 2.

Looks awesome! Why did you decided to remove the head that comes with the model? I don't think it would be too hard to chaos it up. I want to steal this idea and make a GK dread....

Wasnt too fond of the head. I also wanted to make them a bit more like the new Contemptor Dread but with a chaos slant. Wanna make some fluff up about chaos marines willing to be encased in dread armour as long as they can become weapons of devastation! ^_^

A Quick update, I have a further 2 Dreads to add! Brings the total up to 5! One of them is designated the squad commander so I built him with a different antennae array and fitted a little banner!
