I'm assuming Meph rides in the second Stormraven?

How has the durability of your Stormravens been in a competitive setting? They just seem so fragile and vulnerable to missile fire, but I see a lot of people at Game Empire using them despite the weaknesses, so it makes me wonder. Especially when the guy who sweeps the tournament is using a pair of them!

Who were your opponents in rounds 1 and 2?

I was also going to mention you not having a choice to sweeping advance, but looks like it's covered- I played it that way for a year or two, but was eventually corrected myself. Not a huge deal though!

I should also add that I had a weird 2nd place- I got 65 total points and the guy ahead of me got 67. Not really sure how that happened, but I was happy enough- 2nd place isn't terrible, and the *real* prize is in winning the Semi-finals (free armies are nice for poor college students like me, lol)

Next time I WILL take pictures. I just forgot to bring my dads camera with me this time and my phone doesn't exactly take the best pics, nor is it the easiest thing to deal with when I'm using it as a timer.

I see the new scenarios are up for the 17th. Looks pretty objective heavy and I was thinking about trying to squeeze another full strength GH squad in, do you think it necessary? Seeing as you'll need 5 scoring units round 2 to even get a massacre..

I haven't gotten an e-mail or anything from GW or the Pasadena store where the Semi is being held, though Bob took my e-mail that night. Wonder if I should worry at all....

Hopefully, you'll do fine. Although reading the missions beforehand may help quite a lot. Good luck at the semi's!

Yeah I had a look through the missions. #2 is kinda cool, basically King of the Hill. #1 is.....odd. I sincerely hope that they rule that the messanger must be in your opponents deployment zone at the end of turn 6 to score the points. Otherwise it's just silly. #3 is amusing as hell.
