But if we go back that far she can use games with 2D graphics, and games with good 2D graphics can look just as awesome as some 3D games.

I still don't know why that if a game has an art style that isn't "realistic" everyone says its bad graphics.....

Are you sure? according to some people the games graphics are worse than games from 12 years ago!

Well, MYM just got their asses handed to them by EHOME.

All that's left now is EHOME vs Scythe to see who gets to fight Na'vi in the finals, can't wait!

You wouldn't even have League of Legends or Heroes of Newerth without DotA, so remember that. DotA didn't copy ANYTHING off of LoL, its the other way around.

I completely agree with the "keep the F2P idiots out of the game" too. I have found waaaay too many bad players in LoL, that I simply don't want to play it anymore, even in Ranked.

I'm just waiting.

I saw the map being the EXACT same as Summoners Rift from LoL, and even Ashe the Frost Archer from the trailer. Having said that, having to pay for it is nice; it keeps all the F2P dipsticks out of the game....

Well, yeah, because Summoners Rift is LoL's version the DotA map.

That Archer is the Drow Ranger, which also came first in the Original WC3, not even in DotA. They are largely different heroes, Ashe and Drow.

Its not exactly confirmed that it will be P2P and not F2P. Its been hinted, and is definitely the most likely, but not confirmed.

DotA 2 is looking absolutely amazing for being in an ALPHA STAGE. Keep that in mind..go take a look at what LoL looked like in beta, and compare it to this.

LoL will coexist with DotA because its F2P and largely different from DotA, but I don't think there is much chance for HON.

I think the map being the same isn't necessarily a bad thing; it's not broken, don't fix it.

But you have to admit, having a Frost Archer Hero is kind of similar, ESPECIALLY if the Frost Archer was in WC3 and not even in the original DOTA. Not saying it's a bad thing, but still.

The "Frost Archer" is actually in DotA, I realize I didn't explain that. IIRC, she was one of the first heroes in the game.

Na'Vi is going to win against EHOME, I really doubt they are going to drop it in the championships.

I really like how this game is looking, 44 out of 46 heroes were used overall in the Tournament, and those last 2 may still be used. To me, that just shows that the game is pretty balanced if that many heroes are being picked.

Also, watching the EHOME games are some the most boring games in the tournament...apparently, the Chinese meta is to farm all fething game and turtle as much as possible, and win it late. No action for the first 25 minutes of some of these games.

Yeah, Na'VI is this champs awesome squad.

Loved the match against Scythe, being on the back foot for most of the game, and then just steamrolling them in 2 pushes with mister fat viper

As for the archer. The only thing similar between the WC3 one and DOTA is the silence ability, the original didn't even have frost arrows.

I liked how AA was banned nearly every game, haha.

I expect they are going to start adding a lot more heroes, and that a good deal of heroes were not available in the Tourny, like Blood Seeker.

Hope everyone has Signed up for Beta! I can't wait for that.

I signed up for the beta when I read bots were an option as an opponent. This is a game me and my buddies could stomp some comps on and have a few laughs. I'll probably give the multiplayer a shot but this is the kind of game where I get wafflepwned very quickly so I doubt I'd have much fun with it that way lol.

Its been said that, in total, on release, that 105 Heroes will be in the game, so we have less than half of them.

The awesome thing about this Tournament is that the total rewards for it is around $2 Million, and its in Pre-Beta....I love Gabe Newell and Valve.

Was the 105 Heroes confirmed in an Interview? I hope it's true, I just haven't read anything about it.

Yeah its 105, I've seen it mentioned several times, though I don't remember where exactly.

Na'Vi were above all those teams the entire time..the Pudge pick was hillarious and I loved it, but then they showed how they could play when they were serious the next two games.
