I really have some ideas in my head, but just random ones, that aren't relevant to this mini. I'm thinking things like your modded cadians here on SM scout bikes as biker cops, complete with GS shades, plus some (Dark Elves, OOP?) hounds for a K-9 detachment.

I don't know how much work you want to put overall in this, but I keep thinking about Mordians for places you'd want a bit of spit and polish, like guard posts and formal escorts and such.

Yeah, funny you say that cos i'm currently in the process of making winged stormtrooper as part of my drop troops themed army. I got the wings from ReaperMini. Hopefully they're gonna look pretty boss, like something from Advent Children. At least that's the plan.
Have the 3rd ed IG codex but never played IG, was it the Stormtroopers who could Deep Strike?

Tried googling Advent Children, but didn't really find any pictures with wings. So would it be angel wings, or wings of light?

Ha, i got carried away there, kind of meant the series Final Fantasy in general - there are no real specific examples of what i mean in advent children. Those familiar with the recurring angelic imagery associated with the FF series will get what I'm talking about. I prefer aesthetics over technological realism - within reason of course. If i'm going to spend hours & hours modelling & painting my miniatures I would like them to be the best looking/coolest looking miniatures around.

The best thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's far too late to stop reading it.

*Nod* Know what you mean. Once realism and historical accuracy was important to me, now it's "rule of cool." Besides, how "realistic" or "historically accurate" can one be when playing 40k or WHFB?

And speaking of angels ... Elhaim, Maiden of Light Kinda want to get her, but it's hard to justify the purchase, especially since my entertainment budget just went to Malifaux.

@Oppl
The Street Violence line might interest you.
They also have a 2000 AD line with Judge Dredd figures, Judge Dredd being the inspiration for GW's Adeptus Arbites.

That's a good point - many (but not all) police forces have some sort of identifying lettering on their uniforms, e.g. 'POLICE' in big letters. Literally using 'POLICE' would look strange, but I can certainly see using the initials of whatever you'll call your force. But unless you can make your own transfers (or can do really realy neat paint lettering), I wouldn't bother - bad lettering really hurts the look of a model.

You should make some miniature PR24s to put on the belts. They're instantly recognizable as police batons over pretty much anything else.
