As much as I absolutely despise Fox News, Levy is a good guy. Actually, I think that is the only positive thing I can say about fox. One of their employee's doesn't suck. So...good on that.

It's like seasame street for adults, except they just assume no one learned to count and read so they describe everything in short, concise, and often factually wrong sentences then giggle at how great they are.

They have a lot of great comedians on there, and many funny bits like the video in the OP. Still, I suppose that old adage of haters and their tendency to hate holds true even to the point of banality.

2. Bring it up on your own show when they can't defend themselves or even speak. Do this without provocation or purpose.
3. Continue to berate them.
4. Absorb the money from your high grade, refined, and exceedingly clever humor.

To me, Red Eye is the same Righ Wing/ GOP talking points that the "News" side has, with laughing at what they think is funny.

All it really proves is that fox news is a polarizing news source. Likely 100% of conservatives will identify with it as trusted, citing liberal media bias. There is no left wing propaganda source that commands 40% of cable news ratings to compete with fox. It's a right wing titan. It's a much more diverse field of smaller media outlets on the left and in the middle with different audiences and track records for misinformation and bias. Realistically all of the stations presented present more factual information more often then fox (as a portion of the whole) and present significantly less yellow journalism. Foxes track record speaks for itself. The information that poll presents is pretty skewed.

That said, Americans are pretty dumb, as evidenced by this poll.

Sure. Carlos mencia had his own show and jackass has a couple of movies. Stupid and juvenile can work. It just works on a specific audience and I somehow don't think people pregame for Red Eye, so I think their (relative and minor) success has to do with the fact that the 3AM conservative crowd loves to pick on people and avoid thinking.

When a large number of the population believe Fox when they say that the president of the United States is a Muslim who was born in Kenya because his name is "Barack Hussein Obama", I think that paints a pretty realistic picture of exactly who Fox's viewer base is.

It would be like if CNN's commentators started saying in a matter of fact way that George Bush hates black people, citing an anonymous source(Kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanye!) and "secret documents".

Any show that regularly has Oderus Urungus on as an Interplanetary Correspondent is worth watching, IMO. He's been on there claiming to have invented Prostate Cancer and organizing people to go around and sexually assault people's grandparents.
