I sent tmac a bunch of models including 3 limited editions for an AoBR set, a dark angel, and a Chaos Space Marine. Have not heard back for a long time...

it might be a wild goose chase but I have seen a bunch of new users come on bartertown lately and this one has fw stuff like what your missing . he is also a new users who says he was banned for multiple accts.

He's sockpuppeting here on Dakka, when I was trying to sell my sisters, which I did thank you Very Much Dakka =o]. He offered to trade me that crappy painted army with the RS pits and pieces. It looks like gak like he just ripped the parts of off crappy marines and glued the FW stuff on. The odd thing is that he offered to send to me first, and paypal me the difference?

It wasn't under the name tmac tho. I check the TRP all the time. It's good to know who's who when you are dealing on on-line transactions.

Crappy thing was, I was thinking about doing it with him. I thought I might be able to flip them and still get the elhiem figgies I wanted, but something just didn't seem right. Can't explain it. Glad I didn't tho.

It might be a good idea to post the name of the other account so that people don't end up trading with him there either. If he's has/had two accounts on warseer and two on bartertown, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that he did the same thing here.

Yea you did see them on here before. They were mine. The ones I got ripped off on. I got most of them back but was missing a couple very expensive and important pieces.

On Dakka we only have him listed as tmac, unless the "friend" that contacted [So]Rice was just a duplicate account. He was going by "Clone-Trooper" on Warseer but in that user's trade history there is positive feedback left by tmac; he boosted his own trade rating it seems.

Notice that the banned user on Bartertown even went so far as to copy/paste Da Piper's entire post, from text to pictures. This has to confirm that the user you banned on Bartertown was either tmac or someone associated with him.

Hi guys,

I know this is the place to discuss trades that go bad on this forum, but i think this person needs to be chased up one way or another.

I entered a trade with tmac/Clone-Trooper over on warseer about a month ago and have since lost out on over £100 of models and have yet to receive any messages back from them or their "friend" as other people have.

To me its clear that this person just abuses the honest nature of people on these forums. In my personal opinion (from what has been written here) this person has receive over £500 of stuff from people both on this site and on warseer and is either taking the bits they want and returning damaged models, or just keeping them for himself, which as a few have mentioned is theft.

I believe that we, as a community, should produce a report detailing as much as we possibly can on these trades and this person, and they can be dealt with.

Sorry to barge in from way left wing, but i think this needs to be sorted

I can understand for legal reasons why the Mods would not want personal info posted in this very public forum. There is nothing stopping any of you from emailing whatever personal info you have to each other, in an attempt to collect your due.

Sorry everybody, i understand all the fuss. Im willing to work out every deal, as i should. But with some recent events i didnt have internet access and i did in fact have my friend do a lot of messaging for me, believe it or not, i know its hard to believe coming from me over the internet. This is my first time seeing this thread, since i had to pick up a shift yesterday but so far the trades i have going on are with :

i sent out pipers, vyndettas and flying poo's packages so far, vyndetta i asked if he wanted anything else to cover the cost of shipping (through models) since money is tight.. but he hasnt said anything, the rest of pipers models are being sent to him later this week im selling some warhammer locally to cover the postage and so rice im currently saving up to purchase him a black reach set since he said he doesnt mind waiting a couple of weeks for it.


Donuter hasnt posted here, but i do have a stack of foam with some lotr models i am sending back to him, as they got damaged on the way here, i have to wait to see if i could ship it out later this week also, since canada post doesnt do C.O.D. anymore.

I understand all the hostility towards me, as i myself wouldnt want to wait this long to find out if ive been jipped or not, i did have to sell a portion of my warhammer to cover some costs that needed tending to, im willing to settle all deals ive started here and on WS. But please understand i am going through some problems in my life and communication wont be great, since i only have access on the weekend. BUT i am willing to compensate with whatever i have left over here. So all these trades should be resolved by the end of this week apart from so rice as i have to save up to buy the set and donuter since its a larger package ...

I am genuinely sorry for all the stuff that has happened, but real life does get into the way of things. Ill be checking here again before i leave tonight, so please post here or PM me and ill get back to you as soon as i can.

It's nice to finally get some contact from him, granted he's going through some stuff, but so am i and i manage it.

I asked him to send back my stuff if he didn't have the grey knights that where originally part of the trade. So hopefully i'll have a box of undamaged stuff by the end of next week be it my stuff, or some grey knights.

So, why doesn't tmac provide people with a working phone number? Then, he won't have to worry about contact issues. He and his partners can contact each other as they need.

International phone calls is probably more expensive then the items they sent each other.

I don't know about here, but I could probably find a half dozen people on BTown who are local to someone in a different country -especially Canada & the UK (or who have free international calling)- who would be willing to check in on a trader for me.

Things can't be too different here. The population is even more diversely interational, and there are a ton of people invested in the site.

Hi there. Just posting here to toss my hat in the ring as someone, from Warseer, who is still waiting on models from tmac/clone-trooper. My account is the same there as it is here: BorisGT.

Our trade was for my 21 metal scouts (some bp/ccw, some bolter, one heavy bolter) for his Ork Trukk and 10 Sluggas.

I believe we made the deal to do so before the negative trade reports came in. I'm still hoping that he'll come through and ship out what it rightfully owed.

I know I'm a few days late to the party, but in the interest of making sure all the information is available, I felt I should register and account and let you lads in on that.

I Just received the package I was owed from tmac today (14/09/11). The package contained more bits than I had asked for and a note explaining why they were so late. I honestly believe he is going through some issues at the moment but whether you guys believe that or not is up to you. My trade with tmac is resolved. I hope he will be able to resolve his other trades with all of you.

I agree with Flying Pooo. I believe he is going through some stuff and as this report was needed, give him some time and I am sure everything will get resolved. There may have been some ill intentions but I have been watching this thread(as I was involved at some point) and he seems to be getting things taken care of as his means provides. Give him some time and I am sure everything will get resolved. Hope everything works out for everyone.

Update for you lads,

Today i received my models back today BUT they are not as i sent them. I specifically requested that they were to be sent back AS I SENT THEM.

He opened the box of SoM dice that i send in a sealed box, and sent them back in the velvet bag.

The tabs on all the witch hunter models have been cut off and the paint from the inquisitor has been scratched. On top of all of this the cherub with boltgun was not sent back at all.

Thankfully the FW Avatar hasn't been damaged too much, but the "hair" has been removed forcefully.

At no point did he tell me that he had made any of these changes to my models (not ever so much as a "they are no long as they were when they arrived")

This guy REALLY needs to get his act together, or there will be some serious repercussions!
