There are probably a heck of a lot of gene enhancements and augmentations about in the 41st millenium and so the public might not instantly assume its an Astarte's (remember a vast majority wouldn't know what one looked like in the flesh anyway)

Custodes =/= SM

Confused

Since 999,999 out of a million people in the 40k universe have never seen or even heard of a Space Marine they wouldn't be easy to recognise as an Astartes. Of course, they would obviously be non-human so... a mutant maybe? Or a daemon? If they were painted green, given bigger teeth and a hunch they might pass as a Nob. Or maybe if two of them played dress-up they could be a carnifex. And a whole company could pretend to be a heirophant! Imagine the hijinks those fellas would get up two.

If the Tanith series counts for this. They have gone under-cover for stealth ops.

No I didn't. I said it's irrelevant.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

And why is evidence that clearly states that SM can move among normal humans unnoticed irrelevant, in a thread about if SM can go on covert ops?

I am hard pressed to understand why you think this

Relictors: 1500pts
