If you're looking for some anti-horde, think about how much damage you can do with four Str.5 AP4 flamer templates versus 2 EML's that are going to be turbo boosting to get the FD's in position.

Good point. Very good point. Well, it's an easy switch, so I'll just adjust it in the morning. If I mount my Farseer like your - or something like it - that saves me the trouble of re-outfitting a bike to match a warlock look.

Awesome.

Both players should be using the least durable units possible, with the house rule that all players remove an article of clothing every time you lose a unit, and take a drink every time you kill one of your opponent's units.
I have no idea which army will be triumphant, but I can assure you that everyone wins.

They're guardian heavy weapon platforms lol

That's nice. How about Hellion 'jetbikes' and finecast Farseers and Warlocks?

Hellion's would be cool... but aren't they a bit evil looking? And I'm hearing so much crap about finecast that I'm not willing to risk it. I got about 20+ metal farseers/warlocks anyways, so I'm good to go on those

Hey guys. Just got back from my game. Against C:SM, I actually pulled out a win His list had 3 Vindies, Calgar, 5 TH/SS, and two rhinos of Tacs. Without going into a full on BatRep, it was Capture and Control, standard deployment. Highlights of the game included my Seer Council v. Calgar (which I now know is a big mistake to do), Avoiding all but two Vindi shots (staying out of range), and a turn six ending with me holding his corner, and contesting mine.

Overall I learned quite quickly what is a do and do-not, but I liked the list.

Thanks for all the help! I'll probably have to take it up to 1750 in a few months for FLGS tournies and league, so I hope you can help me then too!!

Awesome! Did your opponent even know what a jetseer council was before this game?

Ha yea I imagine so. I do know that he was as surprised as I was when the Seer council decided to take on Calgar. That was an expression I wish I had a camera for. But Calgar's 2+ save was annoying He probably made 30 saves (the assault started turn 2 and lasted til top of turn 6, ouch)

Typical ultramarine player thinking Calgar is the best thing since sliced bread.
