OP, assuming im correct, you appear to live In the UK (I saw the wee lil union jack by your pic =p) if you want something that'll get paint off of metal minis and plastic minis alike, fairy power spray, a bit on the pricey side at 3.50 a bottle, but it lasts long enough and its reusable (just dont try and clean kitchen surfaces with the used stuff) leave metal model for a few hours, scrub with toothbrush and rinse, plastics may take more time and effort, if you want all paint off, try leaving it over night, scrub, andother night and scrub then rinse, should work just fine. quick heads up, put it in somethng air tight like a tupper-wear container or it'll evaporate =(
