I find it odd that OP says he DOESN'T want to hear stuff that's played on the radio and such, yet people recommend Tool and Stone Sour. lol

Local radio here is basically top40/country/classic rock/hiphop. The one "rock" station has played Lady Gaga from time to time. I have never heard Stone Sour get airplay.

That sucks. At least SA has one rock station, having Lady Gaga played on 4-5 different stations is lame though.

In all honesty thankyou for the fantastic response for what amounts to a fairly selfish thread.

A lot of their music refrences real world historical events, these two songs hooked me on them forever. Up the Irons.

If you like Fear Factory/Rammstein you probably like the genre of Industrial Rock.

Other than that, it's really hard to recommend you things. The genres I can recommend you things for are:
Aggrotech (Industrial Electronic)
Ambient
Dance
Darkwave
EBM (electronic body music: electronic/dance)
Dream Pop
Electronic and Electronica
Futurepop (like synthpop, but from the future)
Industrial
Industrial Rock
Power Metal
Shoegaze (dream pop but different)
Techno
Trance

Additionally if you like some electronic, check out this site, it catalogs basically every type. http://techno.org/electronic-music-guide
