Any of the boss fights from the Resistence series was pretty epic. You had all the classics like the Kraken, the Skyscraper sized creature in Chicargo, the wierd PMS'ing spider mother at the top of the defence tower, Daydelus the wierd floating tentacle thing and an enormous Mechanical Spider

Awesome boss, especially since hes the first in the game.
Although not the hardest (that would go to Lucifer on zealot or higher), hes alot offun especially with the awesome death scene.
If the picture didnt come out, its king minos from Dantes inferno.

I love the fight with the End. Just because there are actually (at least) two ways you can win the fight without ever fighting him.

Spoiler:
There's a single point where, earlier in the game, you can actually shoot him in the head, killing him before the boss fight begins, and if you get to the fight, save, and set your PS2 clock forward 7 days, he'll just die of his old age.

Da Great Looted Waaagh!

I always just made a couple of headshots, and he'd panic and run off into the building, and it would show up on his health. Iv also shot the parrot, even though it's not worth the room, because it doesn't fill your stamina.

In your base, ignoring your logic.

I liked the Radec fight, and killing him in under 20 minutes took some time but I managed to do it. Secret was to take out the waves first of course, but when the rockets guy came you take out the ones on the right of the door and the guys on the left can't hit you with rockets thanks to the debris. After that stick near Rico so he can actually shoot at Radec.

I can't remember any boss fights that were too amazing though, but some of the ones from Lost Planet 2 come to mind. The stupid desert akrids that honed in on sound were a pain to fight, but the gila monster one was pretty fun to fight its the only boss fight I know of that actually ended faster if you let the thing eat you.

Not really a boss fight, but killing Dierker in The Saboteur was probably the most satisfying one I've had. Nothing like sending a smug, aryan, donkey-cave off the edge of the Eiffel Tower.

Don't worry, the ending is expected but the whole ending 'level' is more of a cinematic level and very, very interesting and I actually didn't ruin the whole ending for you either luckily, just the end of the ending.

Forgot about Mephisto, he was a tough one but a good one. Diablo himself was fun to fight too, Fist of the Heavens for the win and all.

Scotland

Finally someone says 'The End'. All the cobras were great boss fights though (apart from the sorrow but that wasnt really a 'fight'.) Though the boss fights are nowhere near as good if you dont tranq 'em.

Fighting liquid ocelot at the end of MGS4 is also SUPERB, both in gameplay and epicness. Shame the beauty beast unit were crap.

The MGS series is a bit of a gem for boss fights.

When it comes to Gaijin efforts at bosses, i would have to go with the Hydra from GOW, not only is it the first boss it is also the first level and the tutorial.

This Touhou game concerns me....... I have honestly never heard of it before now.

I've never feared Death or Dying. I've only feared never Trying.
