Vagina dentata. I can confidently say this is the first time I've seen it represented as a miniature. Fantastic work, really. This is NSFW subtle enough to be played in a GW store surrounded by 8 year olds (though I guess after painting it might end up not so subtle at all!).

originally I was going to cover that area with a tabard or something like it. It seems like I may not need to do that.. too many people like it

(after picking up my jaw)... I just purchased a CD army & without the presence of Fiends I was deciding on making my own & fell upon the idea of spider-like centars. I googled & got this.. MY GOODNESS!!! she is gorgeous. please update frequently I would love to visit with her when down...lol

Not yet, I had to shelf it for a bit because of a couple of my college coarses. I am far from being done with this model. Coming May I will be back with updates and pictures.

I did have to ask if anyone knows good paint schemes that will help this model flourish. I was thinking of pinks, purples, dark grey’s. The hair I believe I am having the most problems with trying to figure out what to do with.

Ohhh how about pink undercoat with kinda tribal tattoos out of the purples and dark greys? have the tattoo's build up thicker and thicker and fade into black for the claws

If you cut up a keeper of secrets and an araknarok then would you really consider it homegrown instead of store bought?

I consider it an awesome kitbash/conversion. maybe it's not scratch build but I don't mind the deffinition of homegrown especialy in reference to the organic nature of the figure

The uses of the reference homegrown is relating to the fact that in the fluff of the Daemons of Chaos book the Soul Forge creates all of the Soul Grinders for the four main Chaos Gods. This is accomplished by sacrificing Daemons to fuel the forge. Slaanash in all of his/her arrogance just decides to bypass the process and breed his/her own visions of the constructs.

Now the taking of the two models, which are Gamesworkshop produces, allow me to enter this into Gamesday when I am finished completing the modeling and painting of it. If the model was scratch built then I am automatically removed from the competition.

GW would never give this the score it deserves due to that MAW. if you wish to enter it into a gamesdsy I would suggest a removable lioncloth

I know that will be a problem. I have already includes some magnets to the model on front of the model covered with greenstuff. The magnets are small and strong so I will have a removable loincloth for the front for “family” oriented competitions like Gamesday and stores.

The base that the model has come with would not be the best option because it is a square WH fantasy base and the soul grinder is a 40k model. Now know that the soul grinder does not have a base of its own, I will still have to stick with the theme of a round base so no confusion will take place.

tyranid bio titan is mostly mounted on a square base.

These were some of the current things that are or has helped me with further ideas for this model.
