melta count as question

...until you get to a tournament, where the TO takes a similar line and you cant play.

Getting metal meltas and adding them on isnt too difficult, and not beyond the realms of what you should be expected to do as part of the social contract.

Did you come here expecting everyone to agree with you or something? It's a bad idea. Everyone thinks so. If you are just going to ignore everyone, why bother posting: go ahead with your plan, and you can reap the consequences yourself in real life when you try to play.

I really feel that you're taking this whole thing a bit too seriously; Now would doing my melta idea ruin the entire game? Would it give me an automatic advantage over the opponent? If this little melta thing seems to ruin the entire game and renders the game unplayable...

Also like I said, I stopped caring after all of these posts that seemed to bawwww when I came up with the proxy and all of you guys seem think that heavy weapon teams are STILL on the small 25mm bases, common not even the GW store's worst customers would complain this much

No, but the degree to which it would be annoying is a lot greater than the degree to which it would benefit anyone.

President - you do realise people use old models, or other regiments, yes?

LOTS of people have not rebased their models.

Awesome conversion, Scott-S6. I do a similar thing for my plasma guns, using the flamer strap.

Yah, most tourney's won't really accept this in WYSIWYG,
but if you would do this, you would need all your melta weapons be like this,
and have no other missle launchers.
But for most friendly games your opponent will probably let you get away with this.

Much in the same way that friendly game opponents will let you get away with soda can drop pods and counts-as for most infantry... but true enough.
