I absolutely love that tank and If I were to do IG I would follow this! I have been using your gun burns on my Vindicators and they are turning out nicely thanks!

On a side note I thought you had a lot of Maxim magazines there for a bit. lol

Haha, I'm glad it said '40 watt' somewhere on those boxes! For a moment then I thought they were a large supply of magazines!

Right guys. A long time ago I was asked for an army shot. Well tomorrow I am having a 2000 point game against a guy who wants to see what a Baneblade can do to necrons. So here are those pictures

Apart from the fact I have just noticed I dint sit the main gun in the baneblade right before I took the pics I think these are ok.

Hope you all like them anyway.

Now i love these tanks big time, I might end up having a different paint scheme for my armour to my troopers now.

And that burn effect is amazing, will be trying that on my Eradicator when it gets painted.

Nice looking force. I love the blue / white unit markings, they make the scheme pop.

Beautiful tanks Truffle, really great overall scheme, especially liking the bright blue/white unit (?) markings!

The most impressive thing for me though, is how much detail there is close in. The Baneblade, for example, looks almost dull from the front, but then as you get closer and rise up above it slightly, theres all sorts of little details that start to stand out (bright purple wiring, purity seal etc.), great work!

Thank you all very much. You may of just given me some drive to finish another one of my Baneblades There are three forgeworld ones in my army but only that one is finished.

On the note of the purple canopy. I think thats a massive personal thing. Most people seem to like it and I really like it. I hate having see through bits on tanks and It would of been more complicated to do an interior ect.

I do however except that some people really dont like painted windows and thats fine to, everyone has their likes and dislikes.

Keep an eye out for more guys

awesome tutorial on how to make those worn gun barrels. This is the most simplistic yet effective color scheme I have ever seen. I hope you take that as a compliment, because you should. I enjoy painting, but I would also like to accomplish more than 1-2 vehicles in 6 months! I admire the simplicity of your model.....although you would never know it was that easy to paint by looking at it. Incredible work!
