See above.

They don't use Kroot as cannon-fodder. Despite their savage persona, Kroot aren't stupid.

Tell that to Kroot that died at suicidal attack at Nimbosa to allow Tau to gun down Guardsman...

It is worth noting though, that tesla, who lived in the 1800's, predicted the internet. Not sure how relevant it is, but I LIKE TESLA.

The man had the right idea, free energy for all. Of course Humans are Humans and individuals always look to benefit from majority.

Asari, Turians, Salarians, Quarians, Vulkans, Andorians, Azgard and others are not part of 40k. And they are ok. ( in short - they are not jerks )

All of the things Brother Coa listed where inventions inside Sci Universes, not the Sci Fi Universes themselves. You said, "Warhammer 40k will probably be true because an invention listed in a different book was later made in real life." The Warhammer 40k setting it not an invention; its a setting.

True, and there are many stories written in 18'th and 19'th century about 21'st century and a way of living. And 70% of them were true about today.

You're a fraternizer with Xenos scum, and should be treated as if you were one. Where's my servitor creation kit?

Hey, I'm only going by what you say on how we should act as enthusiasts of 40k.

They are ok because they are reasonable and they are not trying to wipe us out.

At least try to back up your statements. You can't, since that's made up, but it would be funny to see you try.

Why should I when I am right?

Well, you aren't. Until you prove you are. Again though, you made that last statement up, but it would be funny to see you try.

I won't because I am and I certainly doesn't have to prove it to you.

When I see Star Trek I see us in some 250 - 500 years.

I am just trolling you guys If I tough that 40k is real I would be in madhouse, not going into 3'rd year of college.
And my traitor thing is just making jokes with people, but seems some people are to serious here...

The chances of us leaving our solar system, ever, are so amazingly slim that even with every bit of money on earth funding it we wouldn't be able to do that even in thousands of years. Unless we have an infinitely renewable energy source aboard ships (like plasma reactors, or some way to harness energy from the cold), artificial gravity technology (CAN'T exist), Enormous amounts of redundancy aboard ships and the ability to construct entire colonies on hostile worlds (even Mars, which is fairly hospitable as far as rocks in space go) within a generation, the ability to create an indefinate amount of food aboard ships and about a million other things I am forgetting. Minus even one of those, that would be impossible. Moon Colony is a maybe though.

Sadly you are right. With our today's rocket technology we would need at least 2 year mission to Mars.
But I am optimist, and I am certain we will see Moon base or even Mars base by the end of this century.
As for artificial gravity technology you are also right, but remember that they find particles faster then light recently so they also might find something interesting in that area to.
I also was looking at "Anchien Aliens" recently ( quite good series ) and I saw the new idea of our scientist: a gyroscope with Mercury in it. And when you start it ( when you set it to spin ) after some time the Mercury create some kind of anti-gravitational field.
But for now all of this is all just speculations and theories

Anyways, the more I learn about the AdMech, the more I dislike them. IIRC they purposefully discourage innovation of technology, preferring to only use old technology they rediscover. Lame. If the AdMech would allow technological innovation, perhaps the IoM would be running riot, not struggling to hold everything together.

Why Tau?

And Mechanicus have some religious issue with them, that can't be helped. Imperium is a very...strange place. It is still whole when it has so many starter point to brake apart. Mechanicus being one of them.
