Touch the baneblade and die nuff said!

Regardless of who started the argument or what was said, the fault of vandalizing the baneblade falls squarely on the fat man's shoulders. If you can't control yourself from destroying other people's minis, even in an argument, then you need to get out of there and not come back. That kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially from a grown man.

If he did that to one of my models(SH tanks taking me upwards of a month to paint) I would be livid and would do everything I could to get him banned from the store, if not more.

I envision the ROTC kid getting shot by his own men if he keeps that attitude and somehow makes it to becoming an officer. The fat guy I forsee living out a life of boring people to tears with tales of tabletop glory and being mocked by younger players.

Both at fault for the argument? Sure. But once you cross the line to destroying people's stuff, well, you've crossed the line. If that had happened at our store the fat guy would have been banned.

I agree it was the fat guy. Words are words. But actual damage was a little to far. There was no reason to screw up his model like that.

If you want to insult my mama, call me a loser, tell me how much money you are gonna make when you graduate. Go ahead. I don't care. But if you actually damage my models because you are angry. Then I'll get pissed off. Thus the fat guy.

I think both the snotty kid and the fat guy should meet this fellow over some conflict resolution:

Actually, said crimes have proscribed punishments in the Munitorum Manuel

the charges are as follows,

Ill Treatment of, or Neglect of Accoutrements: Any Soldier who is found guilty of this shall be shot (Art. 4773/67y)

Defacing Weapons or Equipment without permission of a senior officer: Any soldier found guilty of this shall be flogged (Art. 9475/35j)

Damaging weapons or equipment deliberatly: Any soldier found guilty of this shall be shot (Art. 2385/34d)

Failure to maintain proper maintenance rites upon weapons or equipment: Any soldier found guilty of this shall be flogged and required to attend each and every maintenance sermon for the next year (Art. 3663/99o)


The punishment to be meted out is as follows,

the guilty party(Fatty McFat) shall be Flogged(39 lashes) and shall attend maintenance sermons for the duration of one(1) year. After the 1 year session is completed, the guilty party shall be flogged(39 lashes) again and shot twice(2).

Hm this reminds me of my buddy dropping my ven dread off the table im sure it was accident but it was in pieces on the floor and my friend looked at me and apparently i as scary cause i never heard him say sorry so much haha

This is a pretty arrogant thing to say. Good luck making six figures out of college. I don't care what his degree is, no one is paying that much for new talent.

I would say the fat kid was in the wrong but they were both grossly immature. Because of the comment he said above though, I want to side with the larger kid... lol at drinking capri sun. I love that gak though.

The School Kid upon walking in and descovering what has happen to his baneblade, should have gone to his bag, gotten out his high peak hat, taken one look at the fat guy and shouted HERESY!
Then proceded to whip out his conceled bolt pistol and left fat guy brains all over the wall.

There is no excuse for even touching a model that belongs to someone else without their permission.

The first step is to identify the victim.

In this case, it's pretty clear that the kid was the victim because his model was the one that was damaged. Some might point out that the kid threw things at the fat guy, but I'm not sure that's enough to establish his victimhood.

Therefore, we can conclude that the kid was the victim.

The second step is to blame the victim.

I don't blame the kid. If someone started vandalizing your stuff would you stay quiet about it? Its only natural that he reacted how he did. It can get annoying when friends play pranks on you that make you have to go out of your way to fix it. The fat guy should have just backed off and and asked to help him before he attempted to pull out the eraser. You should never touch a model that doesn't belong to you without the owner's permission. Its clearly his fault.

I have no opinion.

His attitude about blue collar workers makes me think he's not going to go far in ROTC, which is the newest way to move into a six figure income I've heard.

The army will kick the $hit out of him and make him into a man or he will wash out....those are your only two options. He's not going to get far in the military if he can't stand up for himself. Maybe he should try out for the Marine Corps.....every wargamming site needs a token marine.....Its not a latrine, it the head. Its not a floor its the deck. It's not a door, its a hatch =o]

Honestly, if it was the GW I worked at both of them would of been gone for the night (after ringing up their purchaces of course) and the next time they where in I would talk to both of them and all the people who where playing pranks. Unless they could bribe me with gummi bears or ju-jubes neither would be around for a while.
