Good choice with the dark simple colour scheme and I respect the decision to persevere with the eyes (I've given up on mine......)

The beauty of doing that with the eyes is that you can just go back with a micron pen and do the eyes all together at the end

OR..if you want super detailed colored eye irises, then you can just paint a thin outline around your buggy eyes that met the eyelids.

So, the Imperial Guard has officialy become Astra Militarum so I've added new tags to my photos and changed the names of this blog and of some of my galleries.
While some will miss the old name:

I won't. Simply because I consider Astra Militarum as the official name and Imperial Guard as the colloquial one, very much like Adeptus Astartes for Space Marines. And while GW prefer to call IG Astra Militarum everywhere, they still use the Imperial Guard term. I hope it's not just for getting used to it. And still the soldiers of Astra Militarum/Imperial Guard are still called Guardsmen.

So, I hope the new Codex will bring more cool stuff for my Astra Militarum army and the majority of old units won't be deleted like Necron Pariahs.

And the eternal war continues...
