Hi everyoune!

These Imperial ruins came with the old IG battleforce:

Hello again!
Here are my Imperial city houses made from juice tetra paks in August 2009:
The houses are painted using Chaos Black spray.
The intact house:
It's supplied with curtains made of cloth to keep windows from looking empty.
The signboards and Imperial propaganda posters made from cardboard and decorated with Imperial Guard transfers and my writings:
Lieutenant Andrzej "Pan" Agonsky near the ruined house:
Enjoy!

Hi Dakka!
I'm glad to present you my Shrine of the Aquila. It was painted in December 2009:
The same without the flare:
The rear side of the temple:
And these are the trees made for 40k in January 2010. It was winter, so I couldn't make their photos outdoors:
I used Noch trees and glued them onto extra bases left after loads of Imperial and Eldar infantry. According to their descriptions, the small trees are plum trees in blossom, and the large tree is a rowan (photos below are not mine):
The trees had been already painted and ready to glue.
Then, let me introduce my Imperial Bastion. I got it on Games Day Moscow-2010 in June and painted it in August 2010.
Initially I wanted to paint it gray but decided to make it green, as the rest of my IG army:
The lascannon is to hit down the (yet) non-existent aircraft.
The bastion attacked by the Eldar:
Brave veterans of Zecaris 1st regiment are trying to push Craftworld Mireira Howling Banshees away:
But the battle was interrupted by a giant space cat native to that planet :
Comments and criticism are welcome!
Enjoy!

Hi everyone!
Here is my last (for this moment) terrain purchase - Citadel Modular Gaming Hill and Citadel Wood.
The hill kit comes in two sections and can be assembled as either long or broad hill. The earth is painted Scorched Brown, and the stones are only drybrushed with Graveyard Earth. I used the static grass and the modelling gravel to cover the hill.
The broad hill:
The long hill:
Grass and stones:
Two sections separated:
The wood appears as the base with three removable trees. The Zecaris 1st IG Regiment's Veterans take cover in the forest:
The base without the trees:
Comments and criticism are only welcome!
Thanks!

I like that woods piece. You might think about toning down the gloss on the trees... perhaps a quick re-paint?

Hi Dakka!
Today I've gone Quickshading!
I've treated my infantry with Army Painter Quickshade varnish. I didn't quickshade vehicles, Eldar jetbikes and large terrain pieces.
I put my minis with medical forceps into the can of Quickshade and hold it for a while:
Then I take my soldier out and wait for waste drops of Quickshade to fall down:
Work in progress:
Sadly, my Imperial Guard Heavy Weapon Teams can't be put into the small can, so I'll quickshade them with brush, like vehicles.
A close-up of newly-treated troops:
The work is compete, with my infantry shining and glittering:
The largest miniature possible to be quickshaded was the Eldar Support Weapon.
I've quickshaded the following units in my army:
ELDAR
Avatar of Khaine
Seer Council (with Gyrinx)
Warlock on "jetsteed"
Howling Banshees
Fire Dragons
Guardians (with scatter laser platform)
Dire Avengers
Warp Spiders
Support Weapon
IMPERIAL GUARD
Command HQ
Commissar Yarrick
Stormtroopers
Ratlings
Infantry Platoon (except Heavy Weapons Teams)
Veterans
TERRAIN
Pieces of ancient Eldar ruins
Comments and criticism are welcome!
Thanks!

But as for the cat, I'll say that it's a very unpredictable ally who can smash its own army .
So use it carefully

Hi Dakka!
Quickshading is proceeding!
The soldiers require some time to dry up:
A close-up of quickshaded troops. Notice a thin film of varnish on the Guardsmen's bases:
Next will be full photos of finished qucikshaded troops.
Comments and criticism are welcome!
Enjoy!

Hi Dakka!
I've quickshaded only ancient Eldar ruins pieces from all my terrain. I think they look better now:
But they are glossy, so I'll use dullcoat on them next time.
Comments and criticism are welcome!
Enjoy!

looks great cant wait to see what happens next.
though i do have one suggestion
if these are ancient eldar pieces shouldnt they have detiriorated or something similar?
they just seem way too white to be ancient
just my thought
but it still looks awesome
i can say you are making me seriously thinking about getting some quickshade cause these guys look really sweet.

Thanks!
I really think that quickshading makes miniatures look better.
But it has one shortcoming - models become glossy after quickshade.
The ruins were inspired by ancient Greek ruins though the statue taken from Dire Avenger kit looks very Egyptian.
So I don't think they're too white.

Hello again and allons-y!
Farseer Petriel didn't die in battle with Orks or Tyranids, he is alive and simply has lots of work to do and doesn't have any new miniatures to show on Dakka.
But I'm still interested in WH40K and wait for new 6th Edition Eldar. I'll even buy some cool Eldar miniatures if they're going to be really cool.
Sorry that it's not a terrain post. Recently I've been revising my old archives and found a picture about a WH40K MMO:
I don't like WoW (I played it many years ago but was bored after reaching 42nd level) and don't want the WH40K MMO (if it will ever be released) be like this so I imagined how it would look like if it were made by Blizzard Entertainment. Here are Order and Destruction factions containing races that will never make alliance with each other, and references to World of Warcraft.
Enjoy!

Yep, I made DE base on a moon because Blood Elf locations are placed on a separate server - rather stupid decision. And they're DE because "High" Eldar won't ally with baddies.
