Let's see, I just finished cleaning approximately 150 old Skaven models, 75 old eldar and 100 old demons. I also assembled about 60 Dark Eldar infantry, 4 Raiders, a Ravager, a Venom and 2 Land Raiders this week.
Last week I painted a unit of 30 Grave Guard and the week before I painted a unit of 30 Bestigor.
What have you done for a hobby. Lately?

Over the last few months I have painted almost 2 units...14 figs in total.
I have also had a lot of sex with my girlfriend inbetween. And working 40+ hours a week.

I'm mostly here for the women. Since I posted my army profiles, I've been fighting them off with a pointy stick.
The only downer is that I can barely go out anymore. If I try and stop at, like, Applebees or something, within 5 minutes I'm recognized as "that lighted monolith guy" and I'm signing destroyers and cleavage for the rest of the trip. Dakka celebrity is a blessing and a curse.

The painting and modelling section of the forum is what brought me in, sadly i started to read the other sections and got bored of self righteous trolls on 60% of all the threads.
Some of the work I have seen here has been truely inspiring and made me look at models in very different ways. Also I have tried a lot of techniques to replicate effects I have seen from what people have done.
If your going to do something wrong, do it right!!!!
I feel that Dakka is the DEFINITIVE painting and modeling forum for wargaming. The other parts of the forum don't hold my attention as strongly but in general this is one of the more polite and on topic boards I've ever used.
Also, Malfred. Somewhere along the way, he taught me to love unconventionally.
