Eye of Terra.

Yes, I am a complete stereotype.

At tournaments I play a Blood Angels list as I find it easier to win with it. Expediency here.

In my heart though, I am an Ultramarine. A somewhat rigid, dogmatic and overly complicated layer cake I guess, but frosted with a sense of honor... many times misplaced.

I am ex-military, one of my degrees is in Ancient History and I'm a dogged democrat.

2 & 2 = blue...

I am generally among the loudest people in any room I am in, regardless of the situation, am prone to bearhugging people, lifting them off the ground, and have long, wavy locks, while also being overweight and fairly strong.

I play Necrons.

Granted, I also play Orks.

All the ones i've noticed to be cheating blatently are Marines players of one stripe or another (if you count CSM as marines also)

The AP 2 Heavy 8 Blast Thunderfire cannon was one of the more hilarious attempts

The sneaky cheaters are often DE or Nid, i'll agree, as it's easier to miss rules 'modifications' in a codex you aren't up against every game

Maybe thats just because more people play Space Marines then play other armies.

Cheaters are more likely to play marines because everyone is more likely to play marines(Lurking variable)

Of course, Space Marine cheaters are less likely to get away with it because EVERYONE knows whats in the vanilla dex(cause soooo many people play space marines)

and beware Nid players who are oblivious to their current FAQ... BEWARE!!!

Could be.

I've noticed though that the cheaters i've run across (not that many, thankfully, and spread across the entire span of races) will usually try to be subtle about it, except the SM variants, who seem to be adjusting their stats/rolls/other stuff to fit the BL fluff, and not really even trying to hide it

Could just be the local scene i guess..

FOr Vanillamarines it's easy to spot. BA,GK and SW it's a little harder, unless you have the codex too. I'm gathering in SM codexes to 'know my enemy' rather than having any desire to play them (barring Black Templars..love my Templars, and I've yet to meet a cheater that likes using an outdated codex when there are newer, upgunned versions available to jump to, so i've never met a BT cheat, as yet..) .

The only cheater I've encountered played Orks and he got really guilty and admitted it mid game. Well, maybe there were other cheaters that I just didn't notice, lol.

I play Tau and I hate anime!

Only because men who look like women who talk like little boys who cry like girls is wrong.

"AM are bunch of half human-half robot monkeys who keep tech working by punching it with a wrench And their tech is so sophisticated that you could never get it wrapped it out" thing a LITTLE to seriously. It also goes "Tau tech is so awesome I wish I was Tau and not some stupid Human" thing.

Im the strong silent type, and play Orks.
I believe that the opposites rule does apply here. Although I do enjoy a beer or two and drive around with a bottle of gentelmans jackdaniels in my car at all times. Its for those "I feel like a drink right now" moments. I guess I can can relate to the drunken frat boy feel of the Orks. and relive the glory days vicariously through my green skinned friends.

Some Eldar players can be dicks, but to be far that is because some players in general can be dicks

Some Tau players can be anime Freaks, but Anime is now a really big thing and alot of people like it.

Some Nurgle player reek up to high heaven, but so do most other players(the Unwashed Gaming Community) that do not ever plan on getting laid.

and so on and so forth.

Now some people prolly gravitated towards their army based on how they(the players and the army) act, but from what I have seen it's not as commonplace as people make it seem.

He's got a point. I think people also recognize the stereotypes more without thinking. I mean, I've run into countless players who don't fit any of these stereotypes, and yet play the armies that do, but the ones that stick out in my mind the most do actually follow those stereotypes. It's just the human condition to categorize.

Brave man, to drive with an open bottle of liquor in the vehicle. Even braver if you live in CA.

In some ways, having an open bottle of Liquor is worse then Drug posession here.

With drugs, you face simple posession(depending on the amount)

With Liquor, you will be VERY lucky to be able to drive afterwards. My uncle got his 2nd DUI, 1st was over 40 years ago, and he is looking at Jail time.
