Psychopaths fits better in society than a sociopaths, because sociopaths tend to be more aggressive and impulsive than psychopaths where as psychopaths try to hide there anti social behavior.

Kratos is a sociopath.

Not really. The behavior of the two is identicle, hence why we have so much interchange in the use of the words.

The current difference is cause. Sociopathy is caused by primarily environmental factors. Psychopathy is considered to be caused by genetic factors.

Kratos is closer to a sociopath. Though, he obviously isn't because he is emotionally capable to relate to others. He's just gone bat insane

Also I would say Kratos is sociopathic because when was the last time you saw him have conversation where he acted like a normal human being.

Sociopaths don't form relationships based on love. Kratos had one. He's just emotionally dead in the aftermath, but you can tell he is still emotionally expressive. He just tends to express a lot of rage

~Believes he isn't the one with problems, but the rest of humanity suffers from a disease known as "emotion" and "sympathy".
Drakengard, the first one not the sequel.

I do a mean impression of Elmo from Sesame Street acting like a mass murder.

I thought psychopaths/sociopaths could still experience love they just had trouble relating there emotions with others and also having trouble communicating.

That's just being antisocial IIRC. There's a difference between being antisocial and having a mental disorder.

Oh yeah forgot to add a lack of empathy and remorse, shallow emotions, egocentricity, and deceptiveness. Still I can't see why that would exclude them from feeling love.

Anti-Social Personality Disorder is a mental disorder that is an extreme case of being anti-social. Sociopaths/Psychopaths cannot experience 'love' as we know it because love is an emotion driven almost completely by empathy. Loving another person requires being able to relate to them on a deeply personal level. Sociopaths/Psychopaths are not capable of it.

Is it possible to love someone with out being empathetic?

I don't think so. Love requires one to relate to the person who is the object of the affection. I take that as meaning that if you can't relate emotionally you can't love other people. I suppose maybe you could love yourself I guess

Okay that makes sense although I would add that the lack of concern that psychopaths have for other people's well-being would be a factor too.
