I love every aspect of the hobby, but by god am I dying to play a game right now. As much as I love painting, I'd rather game since it means I'm hanging out with my buddies.

Yep, that's pretty much how I feel too.

Apologies for talking positively about games I enjoy.

I'm having more fun painting/converting than playing right now.

2012- stopped caring
Nova Open 2011- Orks 8th Seed---(I see a trend)
Adepticon 2011- Mike H. Orks 8th Seed (This was the WTF list of the Final 16)

Love to convert stuff, but everyone likes a good game. Painting tends to come third for me, not for any particular reason, thats just how it falls.

But I'm with those that cant stand to play with unpainted models. Im not a great painter by any stretch of the imagination, but I make sure everything is TT quality before putting it down with die.

I echo the sentiments about enjoying gaming with painted models. Getting to play against a beautifully painted army is like getting to play with a work of art. My army isnt rocking an award winning paint job, but it doesn't detract from the visual element of the game when I play.

for me i came to the hobby because it stimulated me to imagine. spent a lot of time looking at my figs and imagining stuff. I love to play, convert and finally paint,. Painting is probably the least favorite aspect of the game for me. If i just am painting a one off, then i am excited, but painting the same thing over and over gets old.

It's an all around hobby for me, I'm not a very good modeler but I try to do something challenging every once in a while. But all told I mainly am in it for the play. Most of my stuff isn't painted but I paint when i can.

Warhammer, one of a few games where Yahtzee is possible and not always a good thing
