As for the pricing of the Wraith Knights. The pack costs $31.99 which works out to $5.33 per figure included. I hope that you find that a fair price. I tried to go as cheap as possible but the cost to mould and cast that many pieces to sell in a sinlge pack makes it difficult to go too cheap.

That's a shame.
I mean, it's a GREAT price... but I'd pay a little bit more to be able to buy them in 2 packs. I have no need for two (but would still buy them), but spending $32 for 6 makes it an unfortunate "pass" for me.

Is it me or are the Wraith Knights intended as “not Bane Thralls” for Warmachine. The resemblance is extremely uncanny. Personally I’d be worried about infringing PP’s IP if it weren’t for the fact that PP isn’t the type to sue everyone like GW.

That being said I might grab a box if Wraith Knights as cheap proxies for Bane Thralls in case I ever want to run Bane Lord Tartar Sauce or Goreshard (those guys can poop out a ridiculous amount of additional Bane units on the table)

The Wraiths and the Zombies would make great Blood Bowl players also.

And I second the concept of being available in 2-packs.

Great job, as always.

Thanks Guys.

Well if the Wraiths are made availible as 2 packs I might as well make them availibel singularly as well which will pu tthe price up past $8.99 as they need the weapon sprue AND woudl need to be moulded differently than they ar ecurrently being moulded. The reason they are sold as a pack of 6 is because the models are not put on individual moulds. They are broken up into family moulds which means that I get a set number of each figure with every spin of that mould. If I sell them individually I will be payign my production firm more money to either block off cavities in the moudl and deal with misregistration issues or I will be burnign up the mould faster by runnign it more often to get mor eof one particular model over another and then melting down whatever else I do nto need. OR I go really expensive and moudl each figure individually and hope that they all sell well enough to justify the expense for each figure's production ( which in my experience never happens ).

Thsi way I can anticipate demand and produce them at a predictable cost which means I can afford to charge less for them allowign you the consumer to build a larger force of them fro a more reasonable price. I woudl not do this just to make you spend more money. I figure that most people who will buy these will be building army units or populating a Dungeon ( the rules for the RBG game underway will facilitate both uses. ). So I researched the common cosst of units for similar games as well as the common usages ( number of units used ) by players of thes esimilar games and set the cost of the pack in such a way as to profit but to also make it not too expensive to buy 2 or 3 units for an army.

I hope this makes sense.

And just for the record again, these figures never had anything to do or any intention of being proxy figures for Warmachine or Hordes. I am nto complainign that you see that use for them but these are intended as exactly what they are, armoured ghosts with skull heads and two handed weapons. If there was any tie in ever considered it would be maybe Middle Earth's Nine Ring Wraiths, but only in the respect of these characters being a kind of main stay of the genre at large. I don't know very many folk at PP personally and while i am sure that they are un fact perfectly reasonable, totally cool people with whom it woudl be really fun to hang out and wax poetic with they do not own the IP for Wraiths and as such really woudl not have any grounds to sue me anyway. I am VERY adamant about making my own way with RBG, I will succeed by my own steam and cleverness or not at all.

How much would it increase your costs to continue casting them exactly as you are now, but make them available as random blisters? Instead of specifically requesting certain models, it's the luck of the draw (a la GW).

Admittedly, I don't know your side of the equation, but I'd think this would allow you to continue casting them the same way, but split them up in a manner than works for you. I'd think your only increase in cost -which I'd gladly pay for- would be in the additional packaging costs.

Thank you for taking such a proactive part in this thread. It truly shows me your appreciation for your customer (and potential customer) base.

The wraiths look pretty much like generic wraiths to me. I'm not familiar with the WM models, but:

Sure, the armour is a little chunkier than a lot of others, but that's merely a stylistic choice.

Out of interest - does anyone recognise the wraiths at the top? I need to get me those two as well...

Sure. A wraith is a relatively iconic look. Most wraiths would have those similarities, I'd wager.
That said, a look at that collection of images shows me that only the LOTR wraiths are up to par with Tre's stuff, and I still prefer Tre's (though, i admit I'd like them more with hair).

I was really happy with my RBG purchases last time, so I'll be strongly considering these guys when the next paycheck comes in.
I like the Half Orc Thug the most, actually. Though I could maybe do with a human fighter too. If I start going down that route I'm probably doomed though- soon enough I'll need all of Tre's hero sculpts.

Bey Guys,

Porkuslime....hell no..... Either I misunderstood my caster as to what was going to be delivered on the 5th or if someone just dropped the ball. I had to make some repairs to two sets of masters before production moulds could be made but those are now finished so I should receive the castings by this saturday or maybe monday at the latest. I am really sorry about the delay on this.

Magickalmemories.... I almost gave the wraiths flaming heads but chickened out at the last minute.

DaBoss..... Cheers!

Honestly, I don't think I'd have liked Ghost Rider heads on them as much. I think they'd look very cool with wispy hair and beards (on a couple), though.

I'm splitting a couple with Porkuslime from his order, so I really can't wait to get them!

That's also true. I guess Tre' could in theory make a set of "variant" wraiths with wispy hair and beards, but it would depend a lot on the cost of making the moulds and also how many wraiths are being sold - as hairy versions would potentially cannibalise sales of the others rather than being "separate" or additional sales. I'm personally happier without flaming heads (wouldn't have bought any) vs having these ones on my shopping list, but I'm just one customer. Also wanting to get those zombies when I do my next RBG order.

Actualy, Tre' - is there any chance of some armoured zombies down the line? Perhaps zombie versions of some of your other figure types with armour pieces/decaying armour - zombie vikings/elves/dwarves/etc?

This is a fascinating thread, especially for the stuff about how the production process works.

Well, " works " is not the term I would use to discribe the production prcocess..... I think that " rattles, bumps, and bangs along at intermittent speeds in meandering directions " is more apt.

Scipio.... yep, there shall be that. The Lesser undead have been the success I had hoped for and I know I would be foolish to squander the momentum gained with them. There were three demon beasts and a Female Necromancer intended for release along with the wraiths and lesser undead which I am working to finish up now for release before Christmas, but NO pre-orders on these! I am NOT going down that path again.

After that I have plans for a group of Draugr ( undead vikings bascily ) some ghouls, a few hell bats, and a mounted Vampire Knight that I hope will be found an interesting take on the subject.
