another question, who can summon the fire demon?

Any summoner with a Dark Affiliation. You pay for the summon as part of your Character levels cost, then at any point in the game the summoner can summon the Fire Demon into play within his Control Zone. If the Demon runs out of Bind points or is kill it is removed from play and can't be summoned again.

You get what you pay for though, because most summons are nasty for their point cost.

thanks for the wealth of information, im looking over a gamma level force with the Wissenschaft, more for the look of the models.

I've played them several times, They are solid as hell.

Lorenzo has single handedly (pun intended) crush more people's heads then I can count, Sniper Ballroom girl is a nightmare to close in on, and the Gears take soooo much damage to take down.

Also remember you get a Organizational bonus for every 200 levels played on playing so with Wissenschaft you can buff 2 models with a status per turn or double you advantage cards and points or take a wanderer for 10 levels less.

between here and the anima forums i have whittled out a list:

see any glaring issues with it? most importantly i like the look of all the models.

List looks golden, you'd definitely crush some face with that and look good doing it. I'd certainly take the Loggia Organizational Advantage so that you get 60pts in advantage cards and max 12 cards.

i swapped celia for rayne since i got celias points wrong. i cant seem to find sophia anywhere online. i like to get forces in bundles, seems i need to dig a bit deeper to find her.

Grimorium loses 1 attack on it's ranged shot but gains the ability to be fired at 8" for 2ap, 12" for 3ap (same as goetha), or 16" for 4ap.

Goetha has homing lasers, however they grant hard cover if used and it has flight.

For the extra 5pts I'm seeing a Range 12" attack 6 damage 10 and a seriously nasty charge if you get too close with 2 more armor and 10 more LP.

Errr...... I can't not oppose that. I disagree with Grim in the list only because of the comparative slowness to everyone else in getting anything accomplished. However stat-wise, run two Grims side by side up the middle of the board. They can do nothing without some serious meta-tailoring. Toss in three Goethias and they just... shoot some and be Damage Resistance with relatively low life. You're better off with the shootier non-mechs Wissen has. Their agents can be pretty sweet too. Just my 2 cents.

My mistake, I was only thinking of Grimorium with Reist, which is utter trash.

Sorry, for reviving an old thread but I'll just post the reasoning behind my build (I suggested the grim team)

With the assault group team card and Cordelia already having forward deployment, you already have plenty of mobility in the team. What this team really needs is a tank and the 60 point Grim is by far the toughest non-leader tank in the game. Once Fate comes out she will give a permanent (while she is in play) +2 attack buff to Grim as well as extra healing and AP. Grim with support rips through opposing DR tanks. I've used him to take on two Black Sun Raziel at the same time and he won. The attack buff is huge because that allows him to have a 8/8 -2 armor charge. Very powerful.

Against teams such as Dinah samael teams that focus on shooting you from a distance, wait for Grim to move up the board is well worth it considering that he nearly immune to ranged firepower, especially with healing from himself and Fate.

In summary:
1) Grim shields the rest of your force
2) Grim ties up key enemy models in combat with him rather than your more fragile fighters
3) Grim destroys enemy DR tanks.

If you want to run dual Gears in a list than I suggest using the gear project advantage with this team (once Fate comes out):

No need to buy duplicate gears. The combo of Grim and Theurgia provides a lot of offensive power all with healing and buffs from Fate.

Eeer... that's not the case. The owners are the same: Cypher Studio & Anima Studio. What has changed is the North American Distributor, now it's Cypher which distributes the game by themselves.
Forums are still alive because they have not been shut down, it's only they changed the web adress: http://cipher-studios.com/AnimaBB/index.php

Why does seem A:T is not so popular? I guess because the game has accepted it fills the niche/spot as a secondary game. Actually sells very well, its miniatures range is perfect for collecting and painting but also many players have an A:T war party or a few more to play some fast games when taking a rest between their WHFB/40k or WH/HD matches.
That's why the game has been around for five years now and the company is still in business in comparison with so many other games that tried to fight for a first line spot in the miniatures wargames market but failed, sunk and went in bankruptcy.

I recently played a good game of Anima. It was Azure Alliance vs. Black Sun @ 300pts

My list was:

It was an annihilation match. I won by the skin of my teeth. Frey, and Kirsten bit the dust, Aizen took half damage.
Daimon, the two hunters, and Sophia all got MURDERED by various assassins, Clover took half damage. Kyler honestly shone the most because he danced mad on Daimon five times and put 19 damage on him! Clover was definitely MVP on his team.
