NECRONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please god give me some damn necrons...

As for the rokkit packs on nobs, they are called bikes and they would be less effective than bikes in every category(higher toughness, severely more shooty, cover save from their rule, enhanced turbo boost cover save, etc.) so that is something unnecessary.

Victory is not the most important outcome. Enjoyment and excitement is the best outcome, victory is sweeter when it was fun.

As a player of MTG I'd love games workshop to write up comprehensive rules, no more arguing, no more not knowing, no more contradictions and no more ambiguity.

1. An update to Beastmen & Bretonnians : It is kinda sad to have two such distinct armies with so badly outdated codexes.
2. Better link betwen differ units in a army, In want to field a army that can be reliabel without having to field the flavour of the year moddel/ units
3. Better tules, make them comprensive, and leave no room for debate!

I'd like to see the Chaos factions merged and redone. The traitor Marines should be scaled back, and the bulk of the forces should be made up of excubitors and traitor guard. Daemons could be elites, with marines as more expensive troop choices for support.

Non marine Chaos troops need to be represented.

1. Drop Lucius the Eternal to bring back Doomrider. Doomrider was way more fun to play.
2. Merge Chaos Marines and Chaos Daemons, Chaos Daemons needs too much work.
3. Stop giving all the Dark Angel’s toys to the other chapters.
4. Bring back the old wound allocation.
5. Furious Charge should only be given to Orks with Slugga’s.
6. Stop giving Eternal Warrior to special characters.
7. Lower the WS table stepping from (2*WS + 1) to (1.5*WS), it sucks you need WS 9 for to get a 5+ since the majority of games will have WS 4 enemies.
8. Bring structural points into normal game play for the bigger vehicles (Land Raiders).
9. Higher a technical writer to proof read a codex’s rule sections.
10. Start applying DLC to the game. For example downloadable print out sheet to apply a 0-1 limit to Storm Ravens for Space Marines / Space Wolves. Afternoon of work and GW can push out more kits out.

My wishlist for 6th edition is mostly personal. I really hope GW stops making Space Marines. It's really sickening at this point. Dark Eldar was a nice change and done well... over 17 years after the previous codex. Tyranids were totally crapped all over; no Tervigon model, Carnifexes nerfed to sell more Trygons, horrible internal balance, no invuls, no EW, no tankbusting ability, FAQ nerfed things even more, Warriors die to everything in the meta. To top it all off, the codecies that followed Tyranids were EXCELLENT at destroying Tyranids. Dark Eldar and their poison... Grey Knights and their Force Weapons.

I wish the game had more internal balance. Warhammer isn't a hardcore game in the slightest, and the "tournament" players are just deluding themselves, but at least GW can clean up the rules and balance the game.

As a MtG player and former Judge, I really agree with this. I admire Wizards' ability to make the rules simple enough for newbies to learn, but there's a "Comprehensive Rulebook" that details things that may and do come up in games. It's the accumulation of years of updates and every rules "problem" in MtG can be solved by a competent judge or a Ctrl-F through the rulebook... and MtG has nearly a hundred times more cards than Warhammer has models.

the DE Codex for 3rd Edition came out in 1998 by my research, with the current edition in 2010. So it's more like 13 years.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.

A. Scars don't exactly need their own codex- Iron Hands, for example, would be much more suitable.
B. Ultrasmurfs are Warhammer 40k. That's the way it goes.

Oh quit your whining. You say that like Dark Eldar didn't get a goddamn fantastic model range, rulebook, and continuous support from GW. Marines generally get more attention. We get it.

I want daemons back in my chaos codex-- not gakky little generic daemons--really real daemons.
I want obliterators to have true T5
I want my daemonic gifts and veteran skills back.
Actually, come to think of it, I just want the 3.5 Chaos Codex back.

I WANT TRAITOR GUARD IN THE NEW CODEX!!!! (then I can field chaos marines AND guard mwahahahahahahahaha...).

AND DROP PODS!!!!(im so jealous that all the smurfs get them).

Asides from that in the next ork codex I want a monstor squig (that I can use in 2K games, after all squigs are cool and never should be messed with...) or at least something to rival the dreadnight.

Seriously? I mean, SERIOUSLY!? The Ogres were nigh unplayable (they could win games, but it was rare, at least for me), but now with the new book, they are at least balanced with most other books. We're not OP, or uber or Cheesed out or anything, but we do have a good solid book now.

I personally would love to see the Ork's "ramshackle" rule be put into the BRB, so that all races can enjoy the carnage of a vehicle blowing up in random and fun ways (really its one of the reasons why I love playing against the Orks).

While I doubt I'll be seeing a new guard codex anytime soon, I think it would be cool to have "chaos options" like for X points HQ can take a mark of Chaos gods, then Chaos god Y confers Z rules/blessings etc. to units within the army, for instance conscripts could be come cheaper by following khorne or something like that, this wouldnt need to mean more wargear, just a couple of lines of text within the codex.

A new CSM book. Preferably one that doesn't suck, and maybe one or two that encompasses Legions fully, and renegades.

A lot

What I'd like to see will never happen, so I'll make a (quasi-wishful, quasi-rumoured, mostly wrong) year-long, prediction instead - the first entry is my main guess...

DEC: Bretonnians or Wood Elves
JAN: Black Templars
FEB: Dwarfs or Bretonnians - Cron 2nd Wave
MARCH: Tau
APRIL: Wood Elves or Dwarfs + Contingents
MAY: Sisters of Battle
JUNE: Price Hike (depending on Financial Results) just in time for 6th Edition (10-25% across the board £25-28 Tactical Squads, £70 Battleforces/Battallions, £10 Spray, £2.50 Paints) - hardback Codex books (£28) for 6th Ed release (£50 rule book - distinct fluff change for good or ill).
JULY: Eldar or Chaos
AUGUST: Chaos or Eldar or Dark Angels
SEPT: Blood Bowl-new box, maybe new sculpts, if not Finecast re-release (shudders)
OCT: Any of the 3 from July/August - whichever isn't released in those months.
NOV: WFB release or 'a breather' month - some new models, possible rules no major release (if not swap for OCT)
DEC: The Hobbit/End of the World

Throw in the rumoured Contingent supplement where you please and a possible wave or random release for any army after 3-6 months of initial release, and more Finecast stuff. After the big push for Fantasy this year and after they've re-done the remaining armies we could see pretty much any WFB book at any time.

40k-wise we could see a 40k heavy summer or else interrupted by any single WFB release just before 'The Hobbit' is released. We could see new units for Warhammer in a similar fashion to the VC release earlier this year as a way to freshen up things with updated models. It'll be a very busy year for GW that's for sure

It's kind of hard to predict what GW will do next, other than release great models, raise prices and screw over ROW gamers

If you are after some excellent traitor guard lists (something similar to the old EoT codex) I would thoroughly recommend the Imperial Armor Vraks books (5 is 'basic', 6 is Nurgle, 7 is Khorne - you don't need to get all 3) or one of the Badab books which lets you combine Loyalist marines (well.. on the past to damnation!) with IG. They are one of GW's best kept secrets.

Then you can use deathclaw assault pods
