Evolution Gaming in Eugene Oregon, great place, guy who owns it is nice and shares his toys for large scale games.

The store is regularly open later than standard business hours, plenty of tables to play games on.

Tuesday is Board Game night, where everyone plays the various demo games in the store or brings their own favourite board game, eats, drinks, has a good time. A group plays Drunken Warhammer that night, always entertaining.

Good to know, I'll be moving to the Bay area in a few weeks and thus have to find anew FLGS.

What other games besides GW are big there? I play the Game of Thrones LCG, 40k and Heroscape.

Chicago

My FLGS is "Chicagoland Games, Dice Dojo". I don't have any exceptional story, but they are always plesant with us when we use their tables, even though our club doesn't play any of the main wargames that they support.

We try to make up for it by buying paint, dice, pop, some figures when possible and the occasional boardgame, but they really deserve credit for being so welcoming to gamers who they stand to make so much less $ from.
