Good work on the bugs - I like the colour choices. Noticed a few bumps where you didn't clean the sprue remnant off of a few Ravener claws, but that's all that jumped out at me. Great start, and keep working at it - you'll be amazed how fast you can get at painting!

Glad to see that there's basing happening, as well.

First Nids my a$$ - too good to be your firsts, outstanding job. I like the vibrant colors! So many people use muted or neutral colors. Keep up the good work!

They look great! If these are your first painting efforts then I say trust your instincts, they're leading you in the right direction. I'd be proud to put these in my display case. Great looking 'nids!

Haha they were my 1st painted models, cheers for the compliments, and yeah im not such a big fan of the neutral coloured nids =P, dont get me wrong some of the paint jobs are AMAZING, but still prefer the nice bright buggy colours =P haha

I'd never have thought these were first attempt.

My first attempts had inch thick coats of paint lol. But then I was 8 and kept changing chapter ^_^

I love these, I have 3-4000 points of tyranids to paint too so it's nice inspiration.

Very nice and bright. My only criticism is you should try and take some time to remove the mold lines. It will improve the final look of your minis by 100%

cheers mate! =] =]
yeah im still abit weary of mould lines as last time i trying taking them off i ruined the model haha, but im still trying different ways =P, also you are the first person to say that nicely... most other folk who have a problem with the mould lines just comment quite rudely, so thank you for being nice about it! =] =]

"why so colourful?" dont you think that a silly question to ask someone?, I have painted these minis the way I wanted them not the way anyone else did, therefore is it not rather obvious that the reason they are so colourful is because i like them that way?,

i know some people have to comment on forum posts to abuse others.. but that was just pointless!!

if i didnt know how i wanted them painted then aye alright, but ive found a scheme i like, why change now... (ill try and improve yes but not change)

cheers man, although there are no Metallics on the nids haha, but thanks for the comment! =] =] =]
